🤍 JUST ADOPTED 🤍 Adopted this cutie over the weekend.
She’s super sweet, I haven’t heard her meows yet. She’s a bit mischievous at night, wake up to a lot of things knocked over. But I’m obsessed. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated as she’s my first cat. TIA.

She’s so sweet looking!!! Looks so much like my boy Fat one I lost 7 months ago!! 😢 He never meowed much of his 3 years of life. But he was extremely curious! And he was an excellent at hiding!! Go to dollar tree and get you a laser pointer for hours of fun!! Oh don’t forget the treats!!

Added a picture of his daughter!!

If she is bouncing around during the night, make sure you give her dedicated playtime between 7-10 pm to burn off some energy. This should help her be less crazy during the night!

Thank you for this, I actually kept her busy from 6 to 11 last night. So she was pretty tired, no mischief was caused.

Looks like mine she doesn’t really meow only very occasionally and when she does it’s surprisingly high pitched 🤭🥰

Such a cutie! She looks so similar to my Cleo!! ❤️ Buy her some toys with catnip and a scratch pad to play with. My cats love their cat tower and window hammocks too! Hope you two have the best life together! ❤️

Haha. Photo #1 is a professional pose that she’d use on LinkedIn. Photo #2 is the 🤪 type she’d only send to her friends on Snap. Photo #3 is stylistic, a little faux candid … perfect for Insta!

She’s a cat like any pet, just make sure her dishes and bathroom are clean, water is fresh, and she has a quiet hideout where she can clean her mittens in peace….

I don’t think I will ever tire of seeing a tuxie face. They have so much character in their expression! I’m away from home now and this is making me miss my two tuxie boys…
Anyway cats are actually pretty easy for the most part. Keep her litter box clean, check for her stool quality, especially in the beginning as she might have some parasites at some point (normal when they’re young) and do your best to find out what kind of toys and what kind of affection she prefers. Also! The way to get her to talk, is to talk to her yourself. The more you do that, the more she will begin to respond. One final tip (although she might already be a bit too old), try to touch her paws as much as possible to get her used to it. Most cats do not appreciate having their paws touched but sometimes you might need to if she has any injuries, so it helps if she is already familiar with it. Good luck and most of all have an amazing time with her!

Ohh such great advices! Thank you so much! One of my favorite things lately is looking at stuff to get her, and all my social media ads have been for different litter and food for her lol

Congratulations on your new adoption! She’s absolutely adorable! I totally get why you’re obsessed 💖 My suggestion would be if you have the space for it a cat tree gives them something they can claim as just their’s to feel comfortable in this new space. It also gives them something to climb, scratch and explore so they’ll have something to work out some of their energy on. It also adds enrichment as tall ones allow them to observe their environments from a high perch which they enjoy and helps them feel safe, and bonus if it’s by a window for them to watch things outside. (Mine get super excited if they see birds and other cats) If you have s smaller space, they make cat hammocks you can install by a window that gives them some of the same benefits. Hope this helps, and congrats again!

Thank you, I’m thinking of a window hammock for my kitchen window because the sun is great there.

She seems quite young. At that teenager phase they tend to be a bit clumsy and like to test things. Also cats need time to feel at home for real. She seems very brave so far.
