He looks just like my Ralph who passed with his best friend about three years ago. I’ll be adopting again once I find a new apartment. Here is a picture of them both together sharing some catnip.
I say that to myself everyday about my grey tux Juno. She was at the shelter for 8 months. Some souls are just meant for each other and he’s clearly meant for you!!
My cutie pie was rescued from the Middle East and went to a foster here in the states. The foster gave her to a shelter because they wanted to rescue kittens.
He is beautiful. I also have a cat that has been to multiple homes. She is a crier and keeps you up at night. She was at her first home and was left at the vet office because of the constant crying. She lived there until she was adopted by my daughter’s daycare lady. My daughter fell in love with her and asked us to take her home. The daycare lady told us that she was willing to let her go because my daughter really wanted her. We took her home and the first night my daughter tried sleeping with her and kept her up all night. We tried putting her in the laundry room, tried plug ins and medication and nothing helped. Now I understand why the daycare lady was willing to let her go. She is a beautiful cat but her crying at night was difficult. I even got her a cat because I thought she was lonely. Nope, that wasn’t it. I bought a large crate where I can put a litter box and had places she can sleep. Every night my 2 cats go in the crate and everyone sleeps well. No more crying. I wonder why your cat was returned? I don’t regret getting her. She is loved and a wonderful cat. Not a tuxedo but looks like your cat but all white with some white spots on her head and tail.
From what we were told his mother abandoned the litter. The first home lost some of his siblings and decided not to keep him in the end. The second home had a cat who fought with him. The third had an allergy. When we went to see him his living environment was awful. He was so scared and had fleas. We immediately took him and cleaned him up. Now he's free to run and play while having plenty of quiet areas in the sun to relax
Nobody really wanted this boy either, I fostered him for almost a year but he kept coming back. I had already fallen in love with him and didn't have the heart to send him away again so I adopted him. He is the most beautiful, gentle soul who loves to cuddle and play, I absolutely adore him and I'm convinced we were meant to be together! Enjoy your precious boy ❤️

My tuxie has a black nose, too! Her name is Neko. No one wanted her either. She is such a sweetheart. I don't understand why people were so mean to her.
I'm happy that your boy has finally found his forever home! Aragorn and Arwen are fantastic names btw!
What an incredibly dapper boy with that long fur and black chin and nose! Stunning.
My dog was returned twice to the shelter by the same previous owners twice. They adopted him as a puppy, he got really sick and they didn’t take him to the vet, it turned into pneumonia and they surrendered him back to the shelter. Once he was on the mend, he sat forever because he had a usual speckly face. The same family came back to adopt a new dog and since the dog was still there and no one wanted him, the shelter allowed them to re-adopt him. Except how they had a healthy older puppy and all the chaos that comes with it. They returned him AGAIN and said he barked too much. He then sat in a kennel for like a year. When I saw his photo I felt an overwhelming desire to get him, I didn’t learn his story until I went to adopt him. I had never picked out a dog online and went and got it, but his eyes spoke to me. He was in another state, and they usually didn’t allow out of state adoptions but they made an exception. I drove 6 hours to meet him and he was so insanely rowdy and had zero manners with people or other dogs since he spent the first year of his life in a cage basically with limited individual attention.
I almost lost my nerve and wondered if my partner would be more mad about us taking off work and driving all day to get this dog or for making the trip and returning empty handed. I adopted him though. He was such a little psycho we almost immediately had to pull off the road for a stop at a pet store for a car harness because he kept trying to launch himself out the window every time we hit a toll booth. I love him more than anything.
He is a very challenging dog, but also he is my heart.
He’s so beautiful! I am glad that you found each other!
I have my roommate’s cat in my lap right now, purring his incredibly loud, trilling purr. He was found as a stray. My roommate tracked down his owner, who said that she didn’t want him back, and that he wouldn’t stay inside.
He is the SWEETEST love bug, and has shown very little interest in going outside. (He goes out in the cat-safe enclosure, and sometimes goes outside under supervision in the backyard.)
As I’m typing, he keeps gently reaching up and touching my face.
Trilling purrs are the best!! Melts my heart. He's currently passed out in my lap with Arwen as well. Love my cuddles. I love how they show how much they love you
He's gorgeous, I love him. I'm so glad you found him, maybe the universe was waiting for that to happen.
Many years ago, I adopted a skinny, sickly 3 year old tuxedo from a shelter. I wanted to give her a break because as soon as she saw me she started screaming, I took that as a sign she needed some help. The shelter advised me her previous owner dropped her off because they were moving to an apartment that didn't accept cats. 🙄 This cat... I took her to the vet, she went on antibiotics for a week and thrived until she passed away 17 years later. She was my soul cat, we were a perfect match. Best cat on the planet.. happy, beautiful sweet spirit, beloved friend.
I'm telling you this because you can't believe how ANGRY I was with the previous owners for dumping this angel at a shelter. Until I realized I had to have her. ♥️
From what we were told his mom abandoned the litter, the first family didn't want him, the second family had a cat that fought him, and the third family was allergic. Just so sad.
Awwww he was waiting for the right family to come along, it’s great you found each other. Give him a big nose smooch on behalf of Reddit, what a cutie 🥰
Well no, YOU wanted him! Everyone else could sense that you were coming to collect your precious boy and left him for you. He looks happy to have you 😊

He was just meant for you.
