Serious question…

I just had to move out of my apartment where I was allowed to have cats but only 2 and had to pay $40 for each. Now I know I’m bad I didn’t tell them I had 4. But I guess I didn’t think this all the way through when I kept getting cats and now I’m up to 4. How am I going to find a place that’s going to let me bring 4 cats without being deceitful and lying about how many I have. Now I can say all day long I have the best cats, they don’t fuck shit up, ruin furniture or walls or ever go to the bathroom outside their box and never fight and are loud. Now saying all this who wouldn’t tell a potential landlord all this right? I’m just kinda stuck right now. I’m living with my sister in law who owns her condo so staying here is always an option but if I wanted my own apartment does anyone have an suggestions or gone through this with more than 2 cats. And getting rid of them is NOT an option no never ever not at all won’t even entertain the thought, don’t even type it! Thanks 😻

I say, if anyone complains just politely tell them they’re seeing double and should get their eyes checked 😂

I second this notion, and add a little mind ya business. Even if it’s to the landlord…who puts a cap on kitty collecting anyway??? 😜🤭they’re beautiful!

I used to make comments about my dream of having 57 cats, and now I have 4 and a dog. One of them had major health issues that cost a few grand to figure out and now we have him figured out but his treatment plan alone is very expensive. I literally cannot afford for another one to get sick like that. I will find a way if it comes to it, because that is what being a pet owner means, but it’s a piece I never considered because I love animals so much and I just want to be around them all the time. We had another dog, too, who we knew was sick and were doing what we needed to do, but she died two days before a vet appointment and it was a serious eye opener in pet ownership. Five more times, I have to lose a beloved animal, and there is no guarantee that all five of them will make it to an appointment and be given a goodbye that they deserve. I never thought I would be one to say “no more” to pets, but the reality is if two of my animals get something like cancer at the same time, I might have to pick a pet, and the facts are that I will have to see five animals that I need in my life die. That is why I put a cap on it. After the dog, I told my husband, “If you find an animal in a dumpster, obviously bring it home, but otherwise no more.”
