I might panic if I wasn't being watched. There's a very fancy little tux-wearing man at my house who watches me 24/7. He even watches me while I sleep. If I go outside, he sits in the window and watches me. He becomes cross when I leave for longer than a normal work day.
It's worth it - at night he purrs away all the night goblins and during the day I never feel lonely. Honestly, I believe he loves me more than any other creature - human or animal - has ever loved me.

This is what I found one night at 2AM.. I heard this noise above my bed. I turned on my flashlight and found my cat peering over me, contemplating whether or not to kill me 😂
