❤️ SO PRECIOUS ❤️ Her happiest place to be is laying on me

Chatterbox was an insanely clingy girl. She was a stray I fed two or three times before she figured out I slept with my bedroom window open, but with cardboard taped over it so I could vent the portable air conditioner. She came crashing through the cardboard like Batman through a window, and when I leaned over to pick everything off the floor she jumped on the A/C unit, almost crashing face first into me, and started chit chatting with me, telling me about her day. I knew if I threw her out she'd just jump back in again, so I just went back to bed after the A/C was set up again, and she curled up behind my knees and purred herself to sleep.
I lived with my mother at the time which is why it took a few months before she could come in the house proper, but once she was allowed in she followed me around everywhere. When I took a bath she'd sit on the toilet until the tub was filled, then jump on the bathtub ledge and sit beside me while I read in the tub, tail dangling in the water. (Then she'd panic and sprint in circles after her wet tail while I dried off and got dressed every single time.) When I went to bed, instead of just asking to be let in through the bedroom door, she'd claw the couch so my mother would get pissed off and throw her out so she could circle the house and jump in through my bedroom window. She wasn't the brightest cat. :-)

Brb crying at the wholesomeness of her picking you as her forever home 🤧❤️ it's so interesting your tuxie was a chatty Cathy too, Diana is even more talkative than my dad's tortie point siamese (and that's saying something lol)
I love chatterbox's markings also!! Thank you for sharing this with me 🥺

I have no idea why she picked me, but I'm happy she did! I just wish I'd had the money to take proper care of her, she was already around 11 years old when she showed up.
Interesting that Diana's a talker too! Chatter had a close friend that I'm pretty sure was a close relative, he was a tuxie too, but I don't remember him talking much at all. But I didn't know him very long, sadly he disappeared during the first winter after I met them, so maybe he just didn't have time to warm up to me enough to start talking to me.
Me too, I loved the landing strip on her nose in particular! She loved having it rubbed. I have a slideshow of cat pictures as my desktop background and always boop it when I see a picture of her. :-)

I,too,have a bed bug that looks exactly like her. She's my chunky-monkey because she filled out at 2 years. She was thin till then

Diana turns 2 in July! We got her at 6 months old and she was so scrawny then (not unhealthy level thank goodness, but still very thin!)

I love that look of pure bliss in the first picture. Our tux boy Moonrise is like that. He’s very talkative and very assertive - when he’s ready for snuggling time, he lets us know and climbs right up. He and his tortie sister can both spend hours in someone’s lap or lying alongside.

Everyone has such amazing name choices for their babies, the name moonrise is so pretty 😭❤️ the white patch on the chin is so precious! His mannerisms sound identical to Diana :) Getting so much dopamine rn from all these cat pics I love it 🙏

mine is the same 🥹 she’s laying next to me right now but she will always lay on my lap while im playing fortnite hehe. sometimes i have to stop playing but it’s worth it for her comfort 🥹🫶🏼

I read somewhere that cats prefer human attention to eating in some cases.
I can tell when my tuxie spends the whole night between my wife and I in bed <3

Tuxedo cats are just sweet cattos who wants to be babied all the time. Mine is so clingy too!!! ☺️

That is True Kitten Love right there! It’s a joyful view of something rare and wonderful. You’re very fortunate and special.
Our tuxedo Houdini does this with my adult son. They’re pretty inseparable. I’ve seen picture #3 quite often!
