Discussion Canada/Greenland invasions are likely to happen and I'm tired of people saying it won't
Ever since January 6th I've felt that too many people have stuck their heads in the sand and have fooled themselves into believing that just because something hasn't happened in their narrow impression of history, that it is impossible. The thing is, these people have been proven wrong by Trump actually doing the thing over a dozen times now. We can't rely on this heuristic that just because something sounds crazy, means that Trump won't or can't do it. He is surrounded by sycophants set on feeding his narcissism.
Trump just keeps repeating and repeating that he is serious about getting Canada and Greenland, that they would be a great part of America, and his followers like Vance actively fuel these ravings (Vance LITERALLY visited Greenland saying that they aren't being treated well by Denmark). What better way for Trump to feed his ego than to copy his idol, Putin, by invading his neighbors and expanding the US map?
How I expect this to go down is the following:
-The world, including Canada will soon retaliate with tariffs which will piss Trump off and lead to further escalation.
-The US economy will continue to greatly suffer, plunging us into a big recession.
-As this is going on, Trump and his minions will continue to amp up the rhetoric against Canada and Greenland, claiming that they are sabotaging the US economy or harboring gangs/cartels.
-At some point (probably before 2026 midterms) Trump will cite some BS false flag or vague national security concern or perhaps referring to the trade war as an excuse for pursuing military action.
As to how exactly the war might play out, I have no idea, but people playing the war out in their heads and claiming it sounds illogical are making a completely irrelevant point as to whether Trump actually tries to attack Canada and Greenland. We are fully in a new global era, before we could claim that random wars are unlikely because of how integrated our economies are. Now what happens if that economic integration is destroyed?

Discussion they want feudalism
They want feudalism. That's it. Workers are subjected serfs, and the stock market is a game of blackjack and only they're allowed to count the cards and figure out when they have the advantage (the dip) while nobody else is allowed to count, or even play because they want most people to be slaves and works for peanuts. That's it. They want Gilded Age corporate feudalism back.

Discussion Economy collapse prepping
Is anyone low or high key prepping financially for a Trump economic plan (if you can call it that?). I don't wanna doom post or fear monger but the tariff thing sounds scary and I'm hearing people murmur that this could lead to another Great Depression 2 of some sort.

Anthony Albanese just sat down with Ozzy Man Reviews for a chat and a pint, talking about our upcoming elections and I'm so proud of the stance are PM is taking on healthcare. The housing seems a little sketchy until I know more but the overall message is highly positive.
