EMBROIDERY Alternative mending

I learned how to embroider and darn this past year, decided my work pants need a ruler. I know this isn't darning. Or mending. But all the stuff came out of the same bag...

And yes, these pants are fresh out of the wash. The MANY stains are from things like liquid nails, caulk, probably some motor oil and paint... they're my go-to work pants 😀

Whenever I need to measure small things I never seem to have a tape measure handy. Fixed it!

Thanks! I'm definitely going to do this on the hem of the blue jean jacket I have in progress. I'm covering it with all sorts of patches and pins, paint and stitches. Fun fact: you can find glow in the dark embroidery thread. I'm so excited to try it out.
