EMBROIDERY Alternative mending

I learned how to embroider and darn this past year, decided my work pants need a ruler. I know this isn't darning. Or mending. But all the stuff came out of the same bag...

And yes, these pants are fresh out of the wash. The MANY stains are from things like liquid nails, caulk, probably some motor oil and paint... they're my go-to work pants 😀

Whenever I need to measure small things I never seem to have a tape measure handy. Fixed it!

This reminds me of the folks who tattoo a ruler on their hand or arm for regular use. As above said, check it again after washing and drying as it may shrink. But for rough approximations it will probably still suffice. Nicely done!

You can get a temporary tattoo ruler from Tested (Adam Savage's youtube channel) if you want to try before committing
