Turns out all you need to do to get people to believe that you're the party that's good for the economy is say it over and over for 40 years.

Polls show that people consistently trust Republicans more with the economy.

My father used to explain this by saying "all of the other news sources are so incredibly biased against conservatives that fox has to be more biased than anyone else to balance the entire field"

He has thankfully since come to his senses.

Yup, a lot of stupid people always bite the hook and fall for it. It's amazing that a criminal, sex offender, fraud, bankrupt multiple times, insurrectionists... Is in charge of one of the most important country's! As a diversified investor…. I tend to lose money in the democratic years and gain during republican terms. I was however heavy in cash going into Covid as this may be the outlier.
