To be a doomer i think the only way that will happen is if we fall into a great depression so bad that people die on the street and it becomes evident that anyone in power who let him get away with this doesn't understand economics at all or steal more then the most crooked dem

Yeah the only way they actually learn is if we treat them like the Germans and Japanese post war and drag them kicking and screaming back to reality

That’s a very rose colored view of postwar German and Japanese sentiment. Germany didn’t really come to terms with the war until the 1968 generation forced the question in the 1970s and Japan still has a very large “what war crimes” contingent, including the late Shinzo Abe
