MAGA’s favorite color.

Red crayons taste the best.

6

u/orangewhitecorgi23 Mar 07 '25

Are they cherry or raspberry?

1

u/Extreme-Island-5041 29d ago

That depends. Are your red Crayola or Rose Art?

2

u/orangewhitecorgi23 29d ago

Store brand. Can't afford name brand stuff.

u/Daxnu Mar 06 '25

Invest in the EU instead like everyone else

24

u/StonkConvict Mar 06 '25

Or BABA which remains to be a menace to society haha

7

u/coffeeisveryok Mar 06 '25

If Trump wants to even threaten banning ADRs in the near future it will tank. you aren't buying actual BABA stock when you buy BABA.

3

u/StonkConvict Mar 06 '25

I never buy stocks like that anyways especially in the current state of the market. Only options for me. I think BABA might have one more rally to 160 before selling off. Just my opinion. It’s not looking so good so far

1

u/Alone-Amphibian2434 Mar 06 '25

wont that kill a lot of domestic value in foreign markets with expected retaliatory delisting/bans? We have like 1 trillion listed on foreign markets. Would further decouple the dollar from global markets as a secondary result of

2

u/coffeeisveryok Mar 06 '25

It sure will!! But it's in line with everything he's done so far, which is destabilize markets and bring capital back to the US.

1

u/Alone-Amphibian2434 Mar 06 '25

good point. I see us becoming like UK or Japan (economically) if this type of policy continues for years.

1

u/ForeverShiny 29d ago

An ADR getting banned in the US is no problem whatsoever if the Chinese entity still wants customers. China Mobile got delisted in the US and I just got shares for the Hong Kong listed stock (up close to 100% since the ADR delisting btw)

1

u/coffeeisveryok 29d ago

That's good for you but anyone holding an ADR will lose. Obviously the stock on HKSX would go up if people move to their money over there from NYSX. Too late for those who didn't jump sooner though

2

u/ForeverShiny 29d ago

I think you misunderstood me: the ADR shares automatically got converted to the HK shares, no action required. It did cost me a small fee, something like 50 bucks, that's all

1

u/coffeeisveryok 29d ago

Oh, ok, thanks for that! Were you practice about that or how did you find out it was happening?

1

u/ForeverShiny 29d ago

It was very public that these companies had to be delisted in the US so I read up on what happens beforehand

1

u/Jack940912 28d ago

BABA stock is doing well recently, and it is also doing well in China. I am willing to take a gamble.

17

u/DonkeyTron42 Mar 06 '25

EUAD for EU. Or short TSLA (TSDD, TSLQ, TSLZ ETFs for the lazy).

11

u/Apollo_Delphi Mar 06 '25

Germany is looking Great

5

u/roffax010 Mar 06 '25

i had short tesla on his lowest point, not smart of me

1

u/Mister_Sins Mar 06 '25

Is it even worth taking the risk with Tesla?

1

u/nathanv221 Mar 06 '25

I think shorting tesla a few weeks ago was an obvious choice. Musk was clearly pissing off his primary target demographic. I don't think I would choose to today, his target demographic has seemingly changed to government contracts, which largely seem to be under the purview of Musk.

Personally I'm too uncertain to short anything right now. Tomorrow Trump could change his mind about fucking the entire country over and the stocks will recover quickly. On the other hand he could not, and it will take decades for the market to recover. It's just too difficult to predict an irritational actor.

The only obvious thing to do right now is wait a few weeks.

1

u/NecessaryShame2901 29d ago

When in doubt, rub one out. This is post-nut clarity in investing form and I respect your position because I’m doing the same

u/Redtoolbox1 Mar 07 '25

TSLA market cap 625B

1

u/DonkeyTron42 Mar 07 '25

892B actually. Down from 1.3T two months ago and falling fast. This fall is entirely self inflicted and not due to market volatility.

1

u/Redtoolbox1 29d ago

My prediction is TSLA 625B market cap before it stops drowning in its stupidity

1

u/InevitableResident94 29d ago

That and it’s been marked as sell for a while now by several market analyst reports, also indicating the stock is well over-valued for a car company. Well before inauguration, of course.

Just needed a good catalyst to start the sell-off is all. Or several catalysts…fuck it, anything that Elon Musk does at this point is a catalyst to sell the stock.

1

u/DonkeyTron42 29d ago

TSLA is not an EV company. It's a technology company. /s

5

u/crnls-gbc Mar 06 '25

RHM and RENK

TDS used seriously = room-temp IQ

1

u/Same-Frosting4852 Mar 06 '25

You can keep trying to make tds happen. But tds is just anyone watching what the president is doing. Tds is just telling us you are can't think for yourself and you need trumps hand up your bottom to make you speak... not a good look.

1

u/mmarrow Mar 06 '25

Got to love all the winning.

1

u/Jijelinios Mar 06 '25

ING is keeping my portofolio in the green. I know I don't belong here because I don't gamble, but this place is funny.
