EUAD for EU. Or short TSLA (TSDD, TSLQ, TSLZ ETFs for the lazy).

Is it even worth taking the risk with Tesla?

I think shorting tesla a few weeks ago was an obvious choice. Musk was clearly pissing off his primary target demographic. I don't think I would choose to today, his target demographic has seemingly changed to government contracts, which largely seem to be under the purview of Musk.

Personally I'm too uncertain to short anything right now. Tomorrow Trump could change his mind about fucking the entire country over and the stocks will recover quickly. On the other hand he could not, and it will take decades for the market to recover. It's just too difficult to predict an irritational actor.

The only obvious thing to do right now is wait a few weeks.

When in doubt, rub one out. This is post-nut clarity in investing form and I respect your position because I’m doing the same

TSLA market cap 625B

892B actually. Down from 1.3T two months ago and falling fast. This fall is entirely self inflicted and not due to market volatility.

My prediction is TSLA 625B market cap before it stops drowning in its stupidity

That and it’s been marked as sell for a while now by several market analyst reports, also indicating the stock is well over-valued for a car company. Well before inauguration, of course.

Just needed a good catalyst to start the sell-off is all. Or several catalysts…fuck it, anything that Elon Musk does at this point is a catalyst to sell the stock.

TSLA is not an EV company. It's a technology company. /s
