They’ve been real quiet these past weeks.

Yeah sure. I just got banned from r/Trump this morning trying to reason with them over this economic collapse. They don’t see it…at all.

Oh, they do. Most of them are VERY aware right now.

I'm a libertarian who made no bones about voting against my personal beliefs for Hillary, Biden, and then Harris. I'm in the category of 'people they try to convince' to go back to Republicanism.

Talking to them face to face, they want to talk about anything else these days.

Or they try to say 'but the democrats' before Signalgate blew up in their faces.
And Trump started talking about full blown Communism tactics.
Now they just kinda hang out at parties, stare at their fingers a lot,
Saying a lot of 'it was the least bad choice'
and I keep saying 'Dude, you made the worst fucking choice.'

But they won't admit it to anyone who is a Liberal.
They will DIE before they do that.
But they don't have the drive that they had.
If there was a civil war tomorrow, 2/3rds would call out sick.

That's why the GOP is starting to panic,
put money downstream into 'sure win' special election races.
Because they know that they NEED a shot of something to keep things up,
they need wins now, because if they start losing all over again,
if it starts coming apart the same idiots who put them in power are going to tear them apart.

It's almost like those of us who believe that actions have consequences and object permanence, vs. The kids who failed the marshmallow test.

It shouldn't be a contest, but here we are..
