Born in Oakland, California, Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She began her law career in the office of the district attorney of Alameda County. Harris was recruited to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office and later to the office of the city attorney of San Francisco. She was elected district attorney of San Francisco in 2003 and attorney general of California in 2010, and reelected as attorney general in 2014. 

Harris was the junior U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021 after winning the 2016 Senate election. 

Imagine calling this UNQUALIFIED.

She was a shit candidate. She is a former cop who moved to the right - and you are confused why the left was reluctant to support her?

Biden had a 37% approval rating when she ran on his platform. When asked what she would do differently she didn't understand the question. She got 4% of the vote in her last primary. The ideas that she ran on were terrible, she was unpopular and barely anyone came out to vote for her.

"I'm a woman and I'm not trump" is not a political platform, despite what Democrats are trying to tell you.

Trump is the shittiest candidate ever in the history of the universe. There could be billions or trillions of other civilized alien life across billions of years, and I'd still bet everything I have that Trump takes the taco as shittiest ever in the entire universe.

I'm not arguing a good vs bad candidate. The argument was that she was not qualified to be President.

Tell me what IS qualified compared to her resume if not her.

Your reaction is a microcosm for why the Democrats lost.

Why are you listening to anything republicans say? WE ALL KNOW that it's a LIE to say that she's "unqualified." Republicans - and trump - lie all the time. It's what they do. Why are you still listening to them? Why are you still attempting to engage with them in good faith?

"Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience."

Nobody who believes the republican lies are listening to you and they never cared anyway because their own candidate is incredibly unqualified. They don't care about qualifications. You are not refuting anybody. And for anyone who IS still listening to you - you just wasted their attention by saying the obvious.

This is the exact same trap that Harris fell into, the lies cost barely any energy to spread. But she then spent so much time on the defensive, so much time saying "I'm not trump" that she forgot to say what SHE STOOD FOR.

I literally can't name a single policy Harris had that would have been different from Biden. I mean, we had Brat Summer, still wants to bomb children in Gaza, hugged Dick Cheney on stage, owns a gun.... that's about it - and none of those have broad appeal with the left.

Democrat Challenge: Promote your candidate WITHOUT making it all about trump. <Difficulty level: impossible.>

You’re right about everything, except it’s completely rational and a winning strategy to focus on the idiot that bankrupted 6 casinos, wants to study disinfectant injections and thinks wet magnets don’t work.

The problem wasn’t about centering her campaign on Trump. The problem is the idiot eats crayons and for some stupid reason, his opposition won’t just say “look at this stupid idiot eating crayons!” They don’t want to alienate portion of his supporters that we all know will say “how do you know the green ones don’t taste good?”

That was the problem. Running a campaign against trump is a great strategy if you employ just a few of the infinite opportunities he gives you for abject ridicule.

Those are good points.

The only way she could have been a less qualified candidate is if she was a multiple convicted felon who had bankrupted casinos, promised to be a dictator on day one, amplified social media lies as facts, offered up tariffs as a magic bullet to fix an economy that wasn't broken, and shit all over every single world leader not named Vladimir Putin for 8 straight months leading up to election night.

Would have been hilarious if she made comments about wanting to have sex with her children, grab boys by their penises, and that asylum seekers were actually people that were from insane asylums.
