How to Halve a Dose?

I need to drop down to half my dosage and don't want to waste my current shots as they are expensive. I thought I could stop depressing the pen when the yellow line reached the halfway point but it doesn't stop administering. Any ideas? I'm thinking of emptying a pen and then filling up 2 syringes equally. Not sure how to inject after that.

You can extract your pen into a self healing vial and then pull the right dose into a diabetic syringe. I do this for every dose.

What’s your pen? I can help you with the math.

Thank you! I can figure out the dosage after I empty into the self healing vial. Didn't know those exist and that takes care of a lot of potential issues. I never administer shots. Do I just get diabetic syringes and stick the needle in me as far as it will go? Newb here.

They’re very short so I do tend to insert it all the way but they’re very thin gauge.
