[Question] Why is there a slight delay every other snare hit?

You've just discovered drum machine "swing". As someone already commented, it looks like you've applied a "Groove".

If you make a brand new project with just those two samples, does it do the same thing?

That looks really sus. Might be worth to report it or check if the midi file has automation. Also check the playmode of the sample. Maybe there is something wrong(i couldn't imagine why, but maybe it helps) Can you reproduce this in a fresh new set (without dragging the clip or drum kit tonthe new set but instead building it from ground up?

Do you have a Groove on those midi clips? That would explain why it delays some hits to adhere to your groove.
