Ooof this is my life. I have almost always forgotten something and chosen to ignore other things. But which of those do I stress over more?

Joining this sub has been the best decision. I feel seen and part of a tribe that gets it. Thank you to whoever started it and everyone one who keeps it going. I’m in a constant state of what this post says. Currently my teenage ASD son refuses to go to school and it’s been over a year and teenager daughter with IEP is freshman in high school. If I get through the day just taking care of them I consider it a great day. Too bad my house isn’t in that equation because it’s a mess. Ugh.

I always have something I should be doing. Free time is just time when I’m avoiding or pretending that I don’t have a mile long to do list.

Me, sitting on the couch with a cup of tea: wow, what a beautiful moment. It's so peaceful right now and sun is lovely. I'm glad I just get to bask in it right now.
Me, five seconds later: oh fuck gotta pick up the kids
