Have you worked with Palantir? Have you read Karp’s book? Look up his political donations for the last election. Do you have an issue with Palantir’s tech? Which part?

Everything covered:

here

and here

and here

I'm not going to sit here and write an entire essay or collect all information, it's not worth my time. But if you think anyone working there has any form empathy or ethical responsibility, you are delusional. Anything touched by Thiel should be completely destroyed. Karp's political donations mean absolutely fucking nothing when he can tolerate to even be in the same room as Thiel without seething. It's all for show.

I read each article and the forum post. Quite dated, but point taken. The law enforcement and immigration work is problematic, to say the absolute least. I agree. That one sentence about “anything touched by thiel should be completely destroyed” I believe clouds your judgement. I mean no disrespect to your judgement, just that I disagree, and I think there are many products thiel has touched that have had a positive impact on the world. It’s just too blanketed a statement. My bias is that I am pro west, pro America. I hate that we’re such a dumb country at the moment and it’s hard for me to separate us from the current admin and its supporters, but I still think Palantir has a place in our DoD and commercial sector. I disagree that anyone working there has no empathy or ethics. I remain open to changing that position and thanks for the response with sources.

Fuck thiel, was that not clear? I like Palantir though. I was curious if I was missing something important but I think I’m clear. They’ve been involved in some tough things I mentioned but I think the company is net good. In a world with China and Russia and saudis and Israel and Iran, I’m happy Palantir exists.
