I would include those who chose not to vote in the stupid portion of the country, about 2/3 of them.

262,083,034 Americans were voting age in 2024 as of last spring.

77 million voted Trump. 75 million or so voted Harris. And 140 million or so didn't vote at all.

So yes, about 217 million Americans either directly voted for this, or enabled it by not voting at all. So the percentage is actually even worse: 82% of voting age Americans.

Not to dispute many people being stupid, but your numbers don't seem ro add up.

262M voters.

77M for Trump + 75M for Harris + 140M = 292M

And if you meant to write 292M voters, Trump voters + no-votes would still be "just" 74% of voters.
