I would include those who chose not to vote in the stupid portion of the country, about 2/3 of them.

262,083,034 Americans were voting age in 2024 as of last spring.

77 million voted Trump. 75 million or so voted Harris. And 140 million or so didn't vote at all.

So yes, about 217 million Americans either directly voted for this, or enabled it by not voting at all. So the percentage is actually even worse: 82% of voting age Americans.

Hold on, just a small correction. 262 -77 - 75 = 110 million voters who didn't vote at all not 140 million.

(77+110)/262 = 71% not 82%

At least it's not that bad but still. I'd put it at only 29% of eligible voters actually voted for him.
