Normally, I would have expected gold to have gone up when there is economic uncertaintly but even, that is tanking as well. The Trump Administration has all things covered in sabotaging the US economy by also propping up competing store of value assets like crypto.

Why does no one know this or understand it. It’s margin calls. People are being liquidated so they need to sell to raise funds/cash to pay the broker. So they sell gold.

What if they do not have gold/crypto to sell? Is real estate panic sell - the next? Just curious

If I'm being honest, I don't follow gold. It's boring. But now I know what could be involved in the opposite of hording gold.

I wouldn’t mind betting we see Trump raise tariffs on China over the weekend I was thinking by the end of the day but then China will raise accordingly. Then when the futures open we will see another huge gap down.
