Disturbing fact, dogs are evolving to mimic more human expressions to gain more rewards and connect better. From eyebrows to smiles, scientist are noticing dogs gaining new facial muscles for the explicit purpose of mimicking our expressions. Generations of human anthropomorphizing and encouraging these things are making it come true by selective breeding.

To me it's disturbing because we will one day have dogs making all sorts of human expressions at us. Wild

Okay, what's wild to me is that I just watched a video about how old paintings depict dogs with human-like faces. It's not just one artist either. I don't know how many, but the paintings are so life-like. Its not as though it was a lack of skill. I saw this video about two days ago. Now this? What.Is.Going.On???

TBF medieval artist drew animals with human life faces to convey the animals emotions and that they saw those specific animals as companions. They also did lack a lot of skill of drawing animals as they in general couldn't draw any animals well.
