Hi friends,

I'm currently doing research on how fetishization impacts Asian women in America and our experiences. I've been fetishized for my Asian identity before and know people close to me who have been affected by it, so I would like to hear from you and your experiences as well for my research.

I'm looking for Asian women (East, Southeast, and South) of all ages in America as participants. It should take no more than 5 minutes.

Thank you so much! 🤍

Activism Sex Sells, Even to Sell a Genocide. How Western Media Uses Our Women Against Us.

I just finished watching the documentary October 8 (private message me for the free link to the HD version of the documentary). October 8 is one one of several new documentaries about the October 7th, 2024 Hamas' attack on Israel and the aftermath. Instead of giving my opinion, I'll point you to a J*wish American Mira Simone Kux's critique of the documentary in her oped: October 8 is a Masterclass in American J*wish Narcissism. My focus is to point out how the October 8 documentary filmmakers used attractive women to drive their narrative home hard, because currently, the October 8 Rotten Tomatoes critic score is 81% with an audience score of 99%. Guess what, it parallels western propaganda (Hollywood and Madison Avenue ad agencies) using our women to drive their anti Asian narratives home hard too, for many decades with the proverbial 'No Dating Asian Polices' trope in movies, TV shows, Vlogs, Blogs, Books, Screenplays and Opeds.

Not Mira Simone Kux. Young and attractive woman in the documentary to push the narrative.

Culture True Forced Loneliness: Light vs Darkness - The Battle of Influence in Music, Society & Culture

As a Blk man who's been deeply analyzing social and cultural warfare, I wanted to share this video with the AZN Identity community out of respect and solidarity. I discuss True Forced Loneliness. As the kind of isolation that stems not just from personal experiences, but from systemic forces that divide and suppress youth across racial, gender, and class lines.

In this original video, I explore the dark symbolism in media, the frequencies in music, and the way cultural programming pits communities against each other with ofespecially through ageism, race/gender division, and social media warfare.

Using the Sonic vs. Metal Sonic analogy, I break down the deeper battle between good and evil, light and darkness, and how both our communities have been targeted in different but connected ways.

I'm not here to speak for the Asian community, but to speak with you—because I know we're all fighting different fronts of the same war. Much love and respect.

Politics I do feel like ''Developed World'' divided into this four regions

• Upvotes

1-Five Eyes + Some Islands: They Represent the Power of Anglosphere and English Language and White ppl being on the top even when they are outside of holy continent

  1. EU + Switzerland/Norway/Micro States on Western Europe: They Represent the Holy Continent and White People home

These Two Were Mostly Overall White People Related Meanwhile The Other Two Developed Regions are

  2. Asian Tigers + Japan/Macau: Honestly East Asians Are Often Seen Honorary White and East Asian Culture Definetely Seen More ''Civilized'' Compared to Other Non White People Which is Related to Skin Color of East Asians. Hard Working, Model Minority and Racist Nerdish Stereotype and White Worshipping are Also Big of reason why East Asia made it into ''developed world''

  3. Gulf Countries + Israel: You Might Think What Culture Influence the Most? I honestly always think its Middle Eastern Culture. Literally 60% Percent of the World believes in 3 Abrahamic Religions and These Religions Mostly Based on Middle East. Despite Middle Easterners Mostly Non White They Actually Not Too Different From White People. Gulf Countries being Developed Represents Holy Islam and Israel Being Developed Represents Holy Judaism

And All These Regions Has ''Developing Enemy'' that often demonized

Against EU Theres Russia, A Half European Country like them that seen threat

Against Gulf Countries/Israel Theres Iran, A Shia Islamic Country (Gulf are Sunnis) Middle Eastern Country Like Them. Iran seen often as threat as well

For Asian Tigers, Its China and/or North Korea, East Asian Countries Like them and seen as Threat as well

As For Five Eyes Even tho its mostly Anglo/British Culture Themed, USA is the undoubtly Powerful one both millitary and economic. And its current rival is obviously China. Its interesting How i mentioned Five Eyes being about Power of English Language, Its Interesting to see competition between most spoken two languages of the world (chinese ve english)

Yeah I know it might be silly and not directly asian themed but this theory always catching my mind often.

News A new villain in the MCU

AM often gets portrayed as a villain, like Wen Wu in Shang-Chi, or as just another average male lead in the Ten Rings. Meanwhile, Wong becomes a bit of a punchline in Doctor Strange 2. In the Spider-Man universe, AM remains the bad guy in both the game and the movie, despite having a half-Asian director and fans wanting genuine Asian representation instead of a forgettable flick (no shade to Ten Rings fans). I enjoyed the Marvel films for their interconnected stories, but when I tried to explore the comics, I found them pretty dull and lacking depth (honestly, if the character hadn’t become Spider-Man, he’d still just be a selfish, antisocial guy).

Even without a political agenda, Demon Slayer managed to surpass the entire American comic industry in sales in 2021. Manga is poised to continue this trend, especially as more Asians embrace stories crafted by Asian creators. I view this as a wonderful opportunity for Asians to come together, celebrate each other's cultures, learn from one another, and enjoy joyful experiences through these narratives.

Ask AI What things can the average person do, that have the highest return on investment for the diaspora community?

Just throwing this question out there. What actions do you think will have the highest pro-Asian effect down the line, realistically? Like having children, learning your heritage language are good ones, but smaller, more specific actions, are important too. What things have the highest impact for the effort?

There's Asian as a race and there's Asian as a culture.

How important to you is knowing your parents' language as part of identifying as Asian, culturally?

It's important to know the language if you're wanting to identify culturally Asian
You can still identify as culturally Asian by only speaking English
