Just got finished watching this episode. As I've gotten older I've grown to appreciate and understand things more. The acting and the conviction behind the characters is mind blowing. No matter how many times I've seen it i always get spine tingling excitement from Mira Furlan's force of character she put into her acting.

I’ve been a fan of Babylon 5 for a good while. When the DVDs came out, I bought them and watched them. When Season 5 came out, I did a rewatch of the prior seasons and then watched Season 5. Over the years I watched the entire series. When I bought the Blu Ray on sale during the holidays, I watched it yet again.

This time, I’m watching it with my girlfriend. So far, she loves it. I haven’t spoiled anything although she has said that I was right. We’re on the last episode of Season 2 and she has noticed how it starts ramping up. It’s great to watch the show with someone who hasn’t seen it and also to be able to share something I love with the person I love.

Because like everyone has mentioned before: The Minbari are centuries ahead of humanity. Their ships and weapons are superior. So in this case, at least humanity doesn't get wiped out but loses the war?

So, I just noticed that the triluminary is made from a broken piece of bismuth crystal, some coper wires and a triangle made out of some sort shiny metal, maybe stainless steel, silver, something like that. Anyway, could such a configuration of metals be sensitive to any energies?

Does anyone know where I can find a map of the Dark Star nightclub? I have tried searching on google, and I can't find anything. I find it hard to believe there are no maps.

Not sure if it was posted before, but I've been randomly browsing youtube for some Babylon 5 content, and found this channel, that creates original Babylon 5 CGI style space battles in Lightwave, and the author really nails the camera work and direction of the original CGI. I thought it was nice.

In Severed Dreams we see five of the Grey Council joined Delenn in breaking the council and going to save B5. Has it ever been confirmed that it was all the religious and worker caste members who followed her? You know, word of god (in this case someone like JMS) confirming it? I know it was highly improbable that any of the warriors joined her but it's something I wondered about for a long while now if one or more of the warriors joined her and one or more members of the religious or worker castes stayed behind.

We saw in Severed Dreams that even on B5 not everyone agreed with what Sheridan was doing when a single person walked off when Sheridan told the staff working in the dome to leave before they violated any regs. And JMS confirmed that was a deliberate choice to show not everyone was on board with what Sheridan was doing. I'm wondering if something similar played out with Minbari in the religious or worker castes? I know, probably not given the dynamics of Minbari society but I think it is something to wonder about.

Or did they also had another agenda? Clark and his people were xenophobic against alien races, but weren't they also with the telepaths as well?

When I was typing out my earlier post about the Minbari I decided to add both Minbar and Minbari to my Firefox dictionary. One of the suggestions for both the words Minbari and Minbar was the following.

Do you think this would be enough to prevent these worlds from rebelling against him?

When G'Kar and Londo were trapped in an elevator due to an explosion, G'Kar refused to lay a finger on Londo. He would happily let the fire outside the elevator kill him if Londo died as well. When Londo asks why G'Kar didn't kill himself, G'Kar reminds Londo of the absurd terms the Centauri imposed on the Narns.

You forget the terms of our surrender. The penalty for killing any Centuari by any Narn will be the death of 500 Narns, including the perpetrators' own family!

Later when G'Kar uses Dust on himself to test if it is viable for Narns to use as a weapon, he decides to take his revenge on Londo and as far as we can tell, he would have killed him if Kosh hadn't intervened.

G'Kar had previously been informed by the rest of the Narns how much he meant to them as a resistance leader. So was he really planning to compromise his position by committing a murder, signing the death sentence of 500 other Narns including any family he had left, or was the Dust impairing his judgement?

What would Lando say today ?

Aside from the Onteen parents who refused to let Dr. Franklin treat their child have anything like advanced directives ever come up in the series? And aside from Ivanova who didn't want to have the alien healing machine used on her but was unable to voice her objections due to her condition.

But I was curious if they ever came up with anyone else in the series? (I became curious about this because I'm in the process of updating all mine since my advanced directives are all about 20 years old now).
