Pls help us choose a hardware for our bathroom
Our vanity is pic 1, and our shower tile is similar to pic 2.
For vanity, the natural choice for hardware is black. But for the showers, we feel black is too dark.
So we could do: 1. Black hardware for the vanity and shower/shower door 2. Chrome hardware for the vanity and shower/shower door. 3. Black hardware for vanity and chrome hardware for shower/shower door. Have a mixed metal look.
What would you do?

How do I get rid of these stains in my shower?
This is after scrubbing with bleach and allowing it to soak for 15 minutes. Any advice?

Bathroom floor
Looking at building a new home in the next year or so. Thinking about bathrooms I wonder has anyone done polished concrete floor in there. Slipping could be an issue but you could have bath mats on the floor while drying. And in the shower area you could have grooves set in the cement for water flow and a bit of grip. Am I missing something as to why you don't see it much?

Best layout?
I am trying to find the best layout for the shape of the space. I cannot change the overall shape, nor can I change the window, and I can only slide the door a few inches towards the window, or all the way away from the window.
This bathroom needs to include a separate water closet, dual vanities, and some sort of arrangement of moderate sized luxury shower of at least 4'x4' and a tub of any type, about 72" long. Floors will be heated. Wet room would be ideal. Steam shower would be a super bonus.
You can see what I've come up with so far, but it's getting A LOT of hate. 😅
What would you do?????

Can't unplug the humidistat
I can't unplug this crappy humidistat (red plug) for the life of me... The sensor can only be turned down to 30% humidity, so I want to disconnect it, but no luck. Anyone have any familiarity with these types of plugs? (For reference, this is a Sterling Select SE120 fan)

Can't find what I need
I have a small standing shower that barely gives room to work with. I want a curved shower rod to give me some elbow room but I don't want to drill into the wall. Somehow it's impossible to find a curved tension rod that fits 46".
I first bought one before measuring and it ended up too long. Just bought another one that's marketed as a " 42'' Curved Tension Shower Curtain Rod". I just got it today and it will only stay in place if it locks into pinholes way down the rod, making it way too long and there's no other way to actually create tension.
Does anyone know of a website or company that sells what I need? I live rural so in-person shopping isn't an option.

24x24 or 12x24 Tile Master Bath
Having a real struggle with the flooring of this large bathroom. The shower is 4x6 and the overall size is 13'x13'. I am really looking to have large format tile in the shower to avoid all the grout, and 24x24 really works well with those cuts. 12x24 gives too many small triangles in my opinion. Would 24x24 be a good choice throughout the bathroom, or is that a bad look these days?
I could do 12x24 on the floor in 1/3 offset, and 24x24 in the shower, and hopefully the glass enclosure will break up the look enough to not notice the size difference.
Floor will be a dark gray, not too busy a pattern, more concrete than stone. The vanity will be a natural stain walnut, so it will have a lot of interest to it. Shower will likely be a white tile, perhaps with light veining. Not solidified on that yet.

What style vanity to pair with a Toto one-piece Promenade toilet?
It could be a standalone vanity (that needs a sink installed) or it could have an attached sink (included top) as long as the sink looks good with the toilet.
The vanity will be 30" wide.
Photos and specific examples would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to the toilet:
https://www.totousa.com/promenade-ii-one-piece-toilet-128-gpf?color=cotton
The toilet is a strongly designed toilet with a specific point of view, that is why I need help picking the vanity.
I could pair it with the Promenade pedestal sink but I really don't think I have enough storage space in my bathroom. It would be more involved for a plumber and I'm not sure I want to take on that whole "pedestal sink" project.

Fresh Bathroom Remodel! Ideal Next Steps? Cleaning/Maintenance
Hey all, finally remodeled my bathroom with subway tile and sealed grout. If i want everything to last well, how should i perform the first cleaning? Theres a residue on each tile from leftover grout and drywall, and i want to make sure i preserve the sealant. Will any normal shower spray work well, or do yall recommend a good spray/scrub combo or method?
Thanks in advancen

Is there a good fix for this?
Purchased a house off a flipper last year, and one of the few issues that has come up is paint seems to be chipping off the tub.
We’ve considered replacing it all together, but something about replacing a cast iron tub with cheap(ish) tub doesn’t feel right.
Is there a better alternative? Should we just try and do a better paint job?
Thanks!

Japan's smart, gorgeous toilets: They have remote controls. They play music. In Japan, even the toilets are cool. Here are some that might just bowl you over. One of the best places to see the best of Japanese toilets old and new is at the Inax Live Museum in Tokoname, outside Nagoya.

Looking for sink size recommendations.
First time doing a bathroom renovation and not sure what size oval vitreous china undermount sink is best for my vanity. The full vanity is 62" long X 20" depth. The sink side of the vanity is 30"X 20". Will be putting in a quartz top and didn't want to buy too large of a sink and worry about breaking the counter top if it's too close to the edge. Is there a standard size guide to go by for vanity sizes? Thanks in an advance.
