When did this come out and whats the point of a 8% wheat beer when the trend for macros is less alcohol, not more

There is a market, look at those 19oz high abvs everywhere now in all types.

I tried to buy it the other day but the store fucked up so I wasn't allowed to buy it. Despite being on the fucking shelf. Was some bullshit
