I’ve been thinking about getting the game at some point in the future. (Can’t rn because I’m broke as shit) I would just like to know how good this game is without spoiling it for my self.

Finally I got the special edition of Bioshock 2 in good condition, now I'm waiting for the first, but unfortunately I known it's a little bit damaged.

Just can‘t stomach most horror movies usually but for some reason I can’t get enough of getting scared shitless by splicers.Steinman and Cohen also almost made me fear for my life. Those silent boys in „Infinite“ also got a few good jumpscares out of me.

Hello! I spend my free time making fan projects in UE5 like these: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/B35k0k and I am now currently working on a Bioshock one, where you can see some of the environments in motion here: https://youtu.be/_5P-mniYghI?si=siJ1sJQ-BBvnZoPr
At this stage, I’ve made good progress on the level design and am focusing on polishing and set dressing. However, I’m struggling to develop the narrative—the "what" and "why" behind the player’s actions in this location. This is an area where I could really use some help.
If you're a writer with a passion for BioShock and its lore (beyond just the games), and you're interested in collaborating on a project like this, please reach out with a sample of your work via DM or a comment.
Thanks so much!

His name is preacher Witting, and he is the same exactly preacher from the flashback scenes.
I never played bioshock infinite back to back, so I never put it together until now. He's clearly the same man, just aged up by 20 years, and is now a devoted follower to Comstock, and is probably one of if not the only man alive who knows that Comstock used to be Booker.
To add a fun fact, you can tell he is blind during the beginning of the game with his eyes being a milky white, which is why he doesn't recognize Booker, despite being a follower of his technically.
As of why Booker doesn't recognize Witting despite almost being baptized by him 20 years before, could just be jumping universes. Also Booker not recognizing someone he probably never kept in contact with after the rejected Baptism.

1 and 2 remastered are on sale, but a number of people mention issues with them crashing regularly. Thoughts on this? Should I try to go for the original versions?
Edit: On PC

So I am curious on everyone's opinions here. I was thinking. It has been quite awhile since we got Bioshock 1, 2 , infinite. Because it has been so long. I can't help but wonder has technology and graphics come so far that this new game won't be a similar experience to the games that made us fall in love to begin with? Has it been too long? Games improving so much to a fault? I fear the same fate for the new borderlands game coming as well. Now I am by no means against improvements. But at what point in improvement does it become a game that looks and feels like a new series entirely? Thoughts?
