Everyone always loved his name, people couldnβt help but comment. It fit him perfectly. Once he lets you in, he could pry open even the most tightly locked up hearts. Threatening when sitting still on the couch. And always there when you needed him.

I would love to see him in a dream. Before he passed we got to take one last nap together. I have such clear memories of looking at him before closing my eyes and finding him on my feet when I woke up, still with me. He was a good boy.

ππππ One of my cats passed a few years ago, and I had a dream of her old fluffy, white, and glowing. She lay next to me and I pet her till I woke up. It made me sad and happy. Hoping for the same to you.

Yeah I want to find something similar in shape. My cat has one of those rectangular bed-shaped ones that she likes alright but I feel like she'd be more into one like that. It's like a cat trap lol

I'm so sorry for your loss. Just remember they are only in our lives for a short period. But for them, we are there their entire lives and love them for all of it. 15 years of love is a long time! An entire lifetime of love. Crowbar's entire life was filled with happiness and comfort from you. Imagine how wonderful it would be to find the love of your life at a very young age and be with them until you die of old age.

Crowbar looks awesome. I once met a void named Yardstick, he only had 3 legs as one got amputated in his youth. So, he had 3 feet. Like how a yardstick is... 3 feet.
I feel like Yardstick and Crowbar would've been fast friends. RIP buddy.

I am going to have to say goodbye to one of mine on wednesday. I already know it is going to crush me. Everytime I have done it , I say NEVER AGAIN but I always give in and rescue another. He is 16 y.o. and has cancer. Wish I could give him a few years of my life.

Take a little time to grieve. Then remember that there's another kitten somewhere, seeking her loving nurturing forever home. Although she probably can't ever fully take the place of your beloved little Crowbar, you'll soon find out that you need her, at least as desperately as she needs you.
