🖤 How do you guys summon your babies?

If I can’t find Shushu I just go to the bathroom and turn on the lights/fan. He’ll immediately come running but I don’t know why; not like I regularly give him baths or anything 😆

Both of our cats know their names, so usually I just call them by name. Or I’ll say in a loud sing-songy voice “oh boyyyyys!” and they come running. But shaking a bag of Tillamook shredded cheese will also have them sprinting into the room.

My cat knows her name, as evidenced by her hears perking up whenever it’s said. That’s how I know that when I call her, she’s just ignoring me… 🥲

Lol. Cats, right? 😹 We trained our boys to come to their names because we used to live in CA and wanted to make sure we could get them to come to us if we ever had to evacuate. My mom had a scary situation where she could only find 1 cat out of 3, and I didn’t ever want that to be us.

yep!!! mine knows her name, and she knows when she’s doing something mischievous, so I’ll be like “hey! sophie! noooo biting cables!” and her ears perk up, but she doesn’t turn and just continues biting my cables 😠 lil brat
