CoD BO6 Ranked play has daily 1 single demotion protection, right? That is not working as expected. It has basically FROZEN my SR, no matter I win or lose a ranked game.

I am a casual gamer; I play 2-3 ranked games a day & currently ranked GOLD 1 at the start of season 3 (Last season GOLD 3). After my 3 matches rank-up-demotion-protection gone, comes the daily demotion protection.

When I win a game I gain around 60 SR and that shows in ranked play lobby screen UNTIL I close the game. When I reopen the game, the SR that I gained is gone and my SR count shows what it was during start of the daily demotion protection. This happened 3 days in a row. At first I was confused, but later kept screenshots and confirmed the problem. 170+ SR is gone already by a few games.

Wondering how do I know it is a daily demotion protection bug? Because when I lose a game, it says no SR loss for demotion protection & the demotion protection notice in the lobby goes away. But when I close and reopen the game, the daily demotion protection is magically back!!

So in conclusion, I win some SR and when I reopen the game that SR is gone and back to the starting value of demotion protection. Does anyone else have his issue? Does anyone know a fix? Please Help!

Tried emoting to taunt my enemies but someone tried using it to their advantage…

Keeps putting the normal scope instead of the locked master craft one. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix? Thanks

P.S. I fixed the HDR screen issue so my clips look better. I also wanna hear y’all’s thoughts on the HDR Sniper they brought back.

So I repeatedly get my care packages stolen by teammates because when they're capturing it, the game doesn't allow me to what so ever.

Even in hard core, if a teammate is capturing it and I try to kill them to stop it, it counts as a friendly fire, kills me and they still capture it 😂

Has anyone else noticed SR being TAKEN AWAY after wins? This has happened two times now. I just logged on. About a little more than halfway between Gold 2 and 3, so like 2800 SR. I just won 4 games in a row and things looked like it didnt count one of the wins, so I restart my game and I'm back down to 2900. So after winning 4 (FOUR!!!) games, I have the progress of 1 single win- if that.

I will say, one of the matches the other team forfeit, and I know there is a protection system against cheaters now this update, and my last game a bronze dropped 60 kills (sus I know lol) but still, happened twice to me so far.

Anyone else have explanations or a similar experiece?

EDIT: Just tried logging in after restarting things, CONVENIENTLY I can't connect to services (BattleNet) after trying to get to the bottom of this. Again, this happened both times where there is now all of a sudden connectivity issues but only when I'm on a nice winning streak....

There was so much hype and excitement for Black Ops 6 but it sadly never managed to reach it's full potential. With Season 3 released, it becomes more and more obvious the focus is not on 6v6 Multiplayer anymore unlike Modern Warfare III last year:

• Server quality and stability are awful at times, even when the game says you are on a 9ms latency. Too often it feels like the game is having hickups.
• Map design focus is mostly on 2v2 FaceOff, it is the mode that has the most unique map environments while 6v6 maps have a majority of the seasonal content stripped from Avalon with the exact same aesthetic and worse graphics/performance.
• General 6v6 map designs are a step away from the classic 3-lane philosophy and feel a lot more chaotic while also being small most of the time.
• No meaningful updates to Perks, it feels kinda boring even to build your class?
• Scorestreaks feel lackluster and the additional Scorestreaks are yet again the same post-launch streaks we had during Cold War eventhough we have been asking for the return of Attack Dogs since Cold War.
• ZERO effort in maintaining a 90s era feel, it's full of fantasy skins that have nothing to do with the 90s or are straightup unrealistic to the point it makes you wonder what game we are even playing.

Black Ops 6 can feel very good the moment you have one of the decent maps and the connections are actually working as intended. The gunplay and movement mechanics are great allthough it sometimes feels like you are on crack with how small and chaotic these maps are for 6v6 despite having a whole mode dedicated to the chaos in FaceOff.

Why is there no option (or no option I'm aware of please inform me if there is) to disable auto mounting corners? I can't count how many deaths I've had because suddenly I can't move just to find out my character decided mounting on the corner during a fire fight was the right call. Spoiler it wasn't.

Edit to add I'm on PS5 and there already exists a button mapped for this.

Anyone had any instances when loading into a match your loadout gets stripped? I mean all attachments removed, perks gone , lethals gone, everything. Even the name of the loadout is gone, just blank. It’s happened to me 3 times now. Activision got me out here butt naked feeling like I gotta windmill my way through the match.

So my friend (the one who took the picture) and i have been playing bo6 zombies until my friend noticed he couldn’t see the minimap or his ammo. Its been like this for a while now and i decided to ask the community for help. It HUD settings are still the default. Can you help us?

Every time I have tried using the in game option in the last few weeks to appear offline, it selects the offline option, but the green dot stays on online and thus I am still appearing online, is it just glitched/broken for series X

Roommate has been having an issue since at least Christmas (season 2) timeframe. We both play the game on battlenet. He was able to get 130-140 frames and one day just went down to 80-90 tops.

At this point I’ve tried every trick: 1: changed settings - everything way you can imagine. Even tried the voice chat trick most steam people see. 2: DDU (Nvidias cleanup tool or whatever) then reinstalled drivers 3: Wiped the computer to factory and reinstalled everything clearly. Same problem. 4: we’ve ran ram memory checks - GPU isn’t getting hot ever - everything seems good health wise.

Only trends we are seeing is utilization on my personal rig is 99% GPU. His never gets over 65%.

At this point we have no clue what to try - game runs like absolute trash and looks awful. Frustrating when it ran well and had good frames a few months ago.

Any suggestions or maybe stuff I’m not looking at?

So, I’ve been a lifelong MnK player, but with BO6 on Game Pass, I figured: Why not try controller?

It’s not the easy-mode aimbot these salty keyboard warriors make it out to be.

My Experience as a New(ish) Controller Player:

• Sticks are imprecise as hell. Tiny adjustments? Forget it.
• Aim assist helps, but it’s not auto-lock. If you think AA = "no skill," you’ve clearly never tried tracking a strafing player with a thumbstick.
• Movement feels clunky. Slide-canceling, jumpshotting, and quick turns? Good luck keeping up with MnK players who can flick 180° in a millisecond.

Now let be real:

• Why isn’t every MnK player ditching their setup? Because guess what? Neither input is objectively better.
• MnK has raw precision and speed.
• Controller has AA to compensate for its limitations.
• Neither guarantees wins. If you’re losing, it’s not the input, it’s you.
• Stop blaming inputs and just get better.

Played kinda tactically and yes love the game so far.
