I’m shocked she lived through this.

Same! My first thought was “oh! She dead 😵 “

Me too! On second watch, I made sure to account for which side of the car the driver was on, saw them in the white shirt driving, then you can actually see in slo-mo how the force of the accident somehow pushes her and her seat backwards, and she winds up more or less in the back seat looking out the rear window. You can see her moving in there after the accident. I was amazed.

Ye i saw that on the first watch, i was thinking why is the back seat so much towards the front and then realised that was the front seat after being pushed back

It was a question. I know they can be difficult to understand sometimes, but if you try sounding out each word separately, I'm sure you will get it with some practice.

I see you have practice in dealing with people like this by living with your cat.

Nah, I'm a school teacher. The cats got nothing on some of my students.

So what happens is, Reddit decided to make companies pay to use their API. So now the only Reddit app that exists is their app. And it's kinda shit. But when you're on the app and you click on a post like this one, it auto-scrolls you to the comments. Which means if you don't scroll back up to check for more info given under the video, you'll never see it.

It's a major design flaw in the app, and a lot of people access Reddit by way of their phones, tablets, etc. where they use an app to do so.

Nobody here had trouble reading, or comprehending. But you have trouble with your interpersonal skills.

Side note there are actually better Reddit apps available (I use narwhal) but unfortunately because of the API changes it’s a $4usd per month subscription now.

It’s worth it to me for the better navigation gestures and no ads, but I get why most people would just keep using the worse free app.

you could have said it nicer you know?
i get your point,
but instead of being an asshat you yould have said
"hey, right under the title its saying: She survived with a broken leg"

but no
went out of your way to make someone feel bad.
have a good day.

My guy, when you see such an impact it is hard to believe they didn’t lose their lives, I mean it hit directly in the drivers compartment and the pole intruded a lot

You mean, "she was survived by a broken leg," right?

Lol

A reverse pirate. A leg with a peg body. Lol

u/oldmanboot 3d ago

It was a shame they couldn't save the rest!

Her right leg was broken, everything else was dust.

Imagine choosing eternal void over a small fine

( I know she lived, but had it been slightly different it would have been over forever )

13

u/danczer 3d ago

I think sometimes drivers are calculating the risks, but they are bad in math. Having a fine vs buying a new car + recover + missing job + the time it takes all these to get you back in normal is really not in balance. Accepting the fine is mostly beneficial and much easier.

Panic is a hell of a drug

Or maybe stupidness? How did she think she was going to outrun the cops with that small engine

Thinking they are somehow special and going to escape by some miracle? How did she asses that situation and decide that the best option was to speed on a busy road with extremely unpredictable traffic ( south american drivers are crazy )

she lived? how

u/MidnightPandaX 3d ago

Fr she should be a picasso painting

She must have ended up in the back seat. I don't know how else she could survive.

u/Thisistheguy26 3d ago

No way she survived that. How?

5

u/iluvnips 3d ago

Also thought she was dead 😵

u/MuszkaX 3d ago

Well, at least the documents don’t need to be renewed now.

Powerpoles… humans greatest nemesis

They do tend to cross the street recklessly

I swear on my life I’m listening to music and as this video starts my song goes “you gotta fast car, and I’ve got a plan to get us outta here”

I’m dying.

4

u/tideshark 3d ago

So you can still come in for work, right?

2

u/Ato9 3d ago

The real question here is, did she manage to get exemption from getting a ticket/summon/fine after all she has done?

2

u/BusterMv 3d ago

If she risks life over expired documents, she most definitely will do something so stupid again in the future since she unfortunately survived.

And these geniuses take out their weapons....

u/mandrew32183 3d ago

I’m weird. That cops door is so used, it won’t stop opening.

u/EpicFishFingers 3d ago

Was she trying to turn into that road on the far left? Nearly made it.. 😂

What the heck is that car made of, Chinesium?

1

u/Crab_Jealous 2d ago

Driver escaped, and it seems this telegraph pole was driving.

1

u/AdHour389 2d ago

Shoot 1st, give help, MAYBE

2

u/just_a_person_i_gues 1d ago

have no fucking idea how she survived

1

u/StunningMatter 1d ago

I watched it in slow mo and saw her body go straight into that pole, and I said to myself, "oh, she dead". Then I read "She survived with a broken leg". Wild, she's so lucky to have got out of that alive.

Got what she deserved.

Well then great thing the cops don't use the jaws of life.

Guns drawn? On someone likely to be dead or unconscious?

25

u/bukkake_brigade 3d ago

People who run police checkpoints usually have something to hide, or are unpleasant people - and she survived. The cops did what is safe for them, they're not just going to stroll up unarmed just to get fucked up by someone they don't know

3

u/pemb 3d ago

Different circumstances, but police armed with rifles have opened fire on cars running checkpoints before here in Brazil, no pursuit necessary.

5

u/rapb0124 3d ago

you dont know what the checkpoint means? lol

No possible way she survived that with just a broken leg. Fake news.

"Fire corps (brazilian firemen) informed that the driver had a fracture on the leg and was taken to Municipal Hospital Dr. Waldemar Tebaldi in Americana"

u/GodRaine 3d ago

“Fake news” as a saying is such a tell

u/JZN20Hz 1d ago

Its funny how easily triggered people can be. I added that just to see the response. It was as expected 😄

1

u/GodRaine 1d ago

Cool story bro. It’s not working as a cover.

1

u/JZN20Hz 1d ago

Dumb! A "cover" for what?? So stupid 🙄
