He looks so cuteeee and nice. My cat has a mean look most of the time, but it fits her name Azula haha

You’re the one who named her 😅

My baby girl Lana did the same thing all the time. She was very cuddly and very affectionate. They look so similar

I found another photo. My sister took the other photo and you can tell because my phone's camera is worse. Anyway, she purred loudly and made bread constantly. I've never had a cat quite that affectionate before, not even my siamese. I was told she was a tonkinese which is a crossbreed so not the same but hard to tell from a siamese. I don't know if that behavior was a tonkinese thing or a her thing.

I talk a lot oops

Why you stealing pics of my cat??? Hahahaha they look the SAME!!! Mine doesn’t make bread, probably because she wasn’t with her mother (she was found alone on the street, in the rain 😞) but she’s really cuddly, even while being sassy haha

I see you speaking about your cat in the past. Has she passed? (Sorry if I’m being invasive)

We had to put her down about a month ago. She was only about 5. I'm still a bit angry because I don't know where she originally came from and what if her health problems were caused by poor breeding practices? The person who gave her to us said they bought her for 200. I'd never buy a cat at all, mine were all rescues or, in Lana's case a gift (is it weird to gift a cat? A live animal?) but 200 has to be a byb, right? No one reputable would sell a tonk that cheap right?

It seems weird.

I’m really sorry for your loss. Its so sad what she had to go through. But I’m sure she felt your love ❤️

I don’t really know about that “business” where they sell animals, don’t know the prices or anything. I do not condone buying pets, and breeding.

My cat was also a gift. I asked my parents for years for a cat, but they always said no because the loss of our previous cat really struck us. But after some years I really wanted another one, especially because I saw so many cats just abandoned in the streets that needed a caring home. Then on my 21st birthday they surprised me with Azula. She was so tiny, and was really sick. Her lungs were filled with liquid and she struggled a lot to breath. She almost died, but I tried my hardest for her to live. I was with her 24/7, giving her medicine, taking her to the vet every week. I even woke up in the middle of the night just to check her breathing. And she made it, she is a warrior! She’s my little baby, will be 5 in August. I love her so much.

They bought a cat we didn't even ask for, a few months after our siamese went missing (our cats are strictly indoor cats now but we used to let them free roam). That's what makes it a weird gift to me. What were we supposed to do though? Reject the cat they already bought specifically for us?

My mom thinks the cat either came from a backyard breeder or was found off the street. We don't know if they actually spent 200. My mom thinks they were trying to get money from her because they ask for money all the time and kept emphasizing how much they spent.

All of this information is coming from my mom btw as it was her friend who gifted Lana. I was 15 at the time.

I just did the math and she was probably about the same age as Azula. Going by your profile, I'm pretty sure we're not even in the same country so I'm sure they didn't come from the same litter but they're like literally identical and possibly the same age? What a coincidence

That is sooo weird… did your mom ended up giving them money? That person is really shady. Was your girl a baby when you got her?

Yea it’s bizarre how much they look alike hahaha

EDIT: I just realized I did the math as if she was born in 2020 but she was probably born in 2019. So she was 5 not 4. Guess they aren't twins

My mom didn't give them anything.

She was clearly kitten but she went into heat around the time we got her so she was probably like 5-6 months. We got her when covid was first being talled about so like, January 2020 I think? I'm not good with dates.

August would've been about 5 months before that. 2020 was 5 years ago but if her birthday was in August she would be 4 not 5. I think I did that math right? I just googled an age calculator. I think she was only 4 and a half actually. That's even younger than my original estimate of 5. Her lifespan wasn't even half of what it should've been.
