The ‘LIFE’ funding program is intended to ‘promote environmental projects and climate measures’ (a.k.a. ‘Global warming’ nonsense).

Another headline for this article was AI can't do basic math.

After reading articles & viewing podcasts, it's equally apparent that the science of climate change is not settled...& I'm uncertain most of the claimed 97% consensus can do the math.

Whether it's the ECS equations or the cost & corresponding efficiency of all-renewable energy powering world economies, math still applies.

If China's economy relies on exports & many of those involve renewables & EVs coming to the West, the math says we only help THEM by buying from them & increasing our trade deficit.

If tariffs are so bad, why are cheap-labor and even the EU so reliant on them?? I saw a map showing which states are most reliant on Chinese exports. California is nearly the highest, yet flyover country & even the U.S. East Coast have far less reliance.

Even Nancy Pelosi in 1996 and Bernie Sanders more recently decried sending our manufacturing overseas and the one-sided tariffs of China. That's simple math. Crappy non-manufacturing jobs do not make a strong middle class.

Pumped hydro

Does anyone know of anywhere that pumped hydro is actually in place and working. I get the theory but the losses must be astronomical
