We’re a family of five sailing on the Disney Treasure and longtime fans of Disney Cruises. We always look forward to the magic, relaxation, and quality time together that your cruises provide.
Unfortunately, this trip hasn’t started the way we’d hoped. Our cabin wasn’t available until 2:30 p.m.—not a big deal—but the challenges started to pile up. When we were ready to go to sleep, our beds weren’t prepared until nearly 9:30 p.m., even after asking twice. A crew member kindly explained that our steward was new, which we understand, but it still disrupted our first evening onboard.
When we asked about our white noise machines, the first person didn’t follow through. Thankfully, someone else stepped in and brought them quickly. We were also missing two towels when we went to shower.
This morning we requested hand soap and, as of almost noon, it hasn’t arrived. We also just returned to find our room still hasn’t been touched.
We’ve sailed with DCL multiple times and have always had amazing experiences. I’m not sure what to do here—I truly don’t want to get anyone in trouble—but come on… this just doesn’t feel like Disney standards.
We’re still hopeful the rest of the cruise turns around and reflects the level of service and care that keeps us coming back.
