Video Me trying to convince myself to wait until I watch Smile 2 (which means waiting for it to release on a streaming service that I subscribed to) before watching the Kill Count, only to cave because of how miserable the first movie made me by just watching the Kill Count:
I know that you’re supposed to watch the movie first, but I couldn’t bring myself to wait and watch the movie for myself, especially since just watching the Kill Count for the first movie was enough for me to put off that movie for good. I ended up watching the Kill Count, and it did make me as miserable as I feared it would, not helped by the guilt, since both the movie and Kill Count were well done.

I think the only KC where I watched it first before the KC when James reccomended it was Too Many Cooks.

Why? The full version of Too Many Cooks is officially available on YouTube, has been for a while, and it’s shorter than the KC.

Sorry if i didn't phrase this right, I watched the KC first, then 10 seconds in when James said watch cooks first, i paused, it, watched cooks and went back to the KC.

In a weird way, I find this movie more rewatchable than the first. it's probably because I already know what type of movie it's going to be, or maybe it's the bigger scope, but I see myself watching Smile 2 more than the first one

It's also just a much better movie. Better lead character, better story, better scares, pretty much every aspect is improved. The first one was fine and it took me forever to watch the second because I figured it was meh but I was blown away by how good it was. Naomi Scott killed it.

I'd suggest signing up for a Paramount+ free trial then cancelling as soon as you watch it.

Probably made you miserable because you experienced an amazing movie first through a kill count instead of watching it first

That was one reason, and I think I will probably still check Smile 2 out, but not Smile 1.

Get yourself a DVD player and buy physical media. Way better and you can watch any time

I guess I could, but I don’t really want to risk buying a physical copy of a movie that I either don’t like or would rarely rewatch. But despite that, yeah, support physical media!
Also, fun fact, I already have a DVD player. A portable one, to be exact. It’s the reason I buy DVDs and not Blu-Rays.

I did that with Halloween ends ,ended up not enjoying or watching but if I ever want to rewatch I don't have to wait or buy it online

Last year, I ended up waiting for it to release on Netflix. It wasn’t the best, but there was still enjoyment to be had.

This is much more inconvenient lol. I get liking physical media but you can watch digital media any time also. DVDs are also lower quality so it’s giving you a worse experience anyway.

Problem with digital media, companies can just delete, remove or alter your media at anytime. Physical media you own and can’t be taken away randomly. Plus a 4k disc is way better then 4k steaming Blu-ray Disc is better than 4K streaming and DVD is way better than standard streaming (this obviously is more extreme depending on internet speeds etc.)
