I tried to draw him smiling, since I don't have any pics of him smiling š How accurate do you guys think this is?
By the way, he's wearing a black sweater bc thats what he usually wears when I see him. So ignore that the outfit is off! <3
He's also a VERY cheerful guy, he just has a smidge of resting bitch face. Or at least, just -_- face. BUT HIS SMILING IS BECAUSEm HE DOES ACTUALLY SMILE A LOT!!! I love him sm.
Also, I'm very much a beginner artist, but I tried to be faithful!!

Nothing fancy. Just a little comic style sketch. I'm experimenting with using highlighter for direct light and this was as good a subject as any?

yea it's all drawn... Someone asked if I traced... Nope, I had a reference but I didn't trace, I used a ruler tool to get it straight enough. (This might count as low effort I don't know... Sorry if it is)

Iām a beginner and I tend to stack humor with my art, to make up for lack of experience and natural skill. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Someone said the face was too wide and the eyes looked off. Then I was told to just scrap it. Please could you advise how I can improve? I really do not want to give up on it right away.. Thank you for reading and hoping for some good replies..
