MISSING CAT - MARIE
Marie is a small all-black moggy. She is wearing a purple collar with a heart-shaped name tag.
There is no number but she is chipped.
Normally an indoor cat and is unfamiliar with the area, she is likely scared and timid. We are very concerned so if seen please let us know.
Last seen 06/04/25 at 15.00 on Ashbank Road, Dundee, DD2 2AU.
Please contact: 07876493227 (Or message 07532441584 or 07591767304)
Thank you.

No visible collar, looks well fed but coat is a bit dirty. Might be a stray, might just have had a fun night in the mud :)
Anyone aware of any missing cats in the Logie/Blackness area?
Missing Cat "Fawkes" around the Lochee/ Wellgrove area : r/dundee
u/rorymclean12 Don't think this is Fawkes as the face and leg pattern doesn't match but worth checking

On Friday, we teamed up with Motus to host a wee-up at the Orwell with a DJ and sell some collab T's. It was a great night. just seeing if anyone made it/ had any photos. It would be great to see them.
This is my first time doing an event in the Orwell, and I would happily go back. Especially with the Lowdown closing, there seems to be a lack of spaces going about.
If you did come but didn't manage to grab a T, you can find the remaining stock here: https://www.flyswatsandbuckethats.co.uk/purchase

Hiya all! I’m looking for a few more people to participate in my study on how a self-help psychological intervention task affects the brain. Sounds complicated but all you’ll need to do is sit tight & listen to two audio files & fill in a few surveys. The entire experiment will take a little more than 30 mins. Please check out the poster for more info. You can sign up here https://forms.office.com/e/PCDKWhGTmS or email me directly at lvanhove@dundee.ac.uk for more info. Thanks everyone!
Hi,
Just thought i would ask on here. is anyone going to the nirvana tribute in dundee next month? i’m looking for some nirvana friends as i don’t have any, just friends in general haha. thought to myself that this would be a good opportunity to meet some people.

Can you please recommend tried and true phone repair stores in Dundee? I just noticed my iPhone only works on speakerphone. Need the other speaker fixed.

Me and my roommate found a really nice apartment that is around the water area. We really want to get it but before we do we just wanted to ask around if anyone knows how safe that area is?

Hello everyone! So I will be in Dundee for my birthday. And because it's on Sunday I was wondering what can I do on that day? For context, I'm traveling alone as I always do when I visit Scotland and I don't have any idea what activities the city has to offer, outside of museums and guided tours (I have planned what I wanted to do). Maybe someone has an idea, if not I will find the nearest pub to my hotel and get a drink there. Thanks for the help though 🫡

We have a couple of young rats, probably around 5 months? I'm not sure.
We've tried and failed to bond them to our current pack. So we are looking for someone to adopt them.
Id prefer someone who knows how to look after rats than putting them into pets at home

I have a long haired persian cat that is really prone to matting and some have accumulated around his legs that he gets really upset if I try to get them out.
I see all the pet groomers in Dundee seem to specialise in dogs. Are there any that are good with long haired cats?

Hey everyone,
Looking for a garage that does walnut blasting/ carbon cleaning for direct injection engines. Car is running a bit rough and looking for somewhere to give it a clean. Hopefully someone can help! Maybe also provide a rough estimate for cost!

I was in a small restaurant in Wester Ross over the weekend and hit Shazam for this song that came on. Turns out the singer is Jim Reid, a proud son of Dundee who spent much of his life in Angus.
As a native of Angus I absolutely love this song and have spent the last couple of days listening to his album “Yont the Tay”. I am dismayed that it is hard to find much information about him online but based on the obituaries in The Herald, The Scotsman and The Independent after his death in 2009 he was a major figure in the Scottish folk music scene.
I know next to nothing about Scottish folk music so if anyone is able to share any knowledge about him I’d love to hear it.
If you have a moment please do listen to this beautiful song which is a poem he put to music (written by Scots poet Violet Jacobs who was born at House of Dun in Montrose and died in the 1940s in Kirriemuir).
If you enjoy this song I also highly recommend his song “Baron o’Brackley”.

Posting here as I was so blown away by the food at Korean BBQ yesterday. A couple of wee teething issues but amazing food and service overall. Highly recommend anyone go. Really authentic food, run by Koreans.
