Recommendations Dyson DC15 attachments

My vacuum recently stopped working so I borrowed my Dad's Dyson DC15 (ball, the animal version i think). It is too heavy for him now so I plan on keeping it. He has no idea when he bought it but says it was long ago. It is amazing, BUT he has lost all of the attachments. I am looking for a brush kit and perhaps a hard floor attachment. Multiple online dealers list thd attachments but then say out of stock. I can find parts to repair in various places, but no attachments. I've tried ebay but nothing specificically mentions dc15. I ordered a generic set from Amazon but they do not fit. Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated!!!

You're going to have to keep checking ebay, or see if there are any local vacuum repair shops nearby which might have some in their random pile of parts.

The dc15 used a smaller diameter of attachments than any other model. That, combined with the age of the model, is going to make finding tools difficult.

That's what I assumed. I am just so impressed with this. It seems to be built like a tank. Are the new ones the same way quality wise?

Absolutely not. The newer ones are built about as thinly as they can be. The handles flex and twist all over the place, the bottom of the head is all plastic unlike the metal on the 15.

Hang onto it as long as possible.

Another tip, make sure the filters are 100% dry before putting them back in, otherwise it can suck moisture into the circuit board. The circuit board is uniquely positioned in the air path for cooling on this motor, but it also means any moisture from a wet filter goes directly onto it before hitting the motor.
