On or about April 1, Dyson discontinued the Dyson Zone.

A great device that just needed an updated visor.

Hopefully Dyson listens to the fans and offers an OnTrac accessory, with a broader set of visors. There's an as-of-yet unused snap-lock and power hookup in the outer covers.

Per California law, Dyson is now obligated to offer service and parts for seven years, until (approximately) April 1, 2032.

Currently Dyson has several Zone parts out of stock, including some that have been out of stock for over a year (especially the FFP2 masks, which is frankly outrageous - as there is no alternative - the Community Mask "Bane Mask" is not a substitute for the FFP2 as the FFP2 allows airflow during wildfires).

It is hard to see how that is in compliance with California RTR laws. Also absent are DIY battery parts, as well as pricing for Dyson service centers to replace the battery. Most importantly, they have failed to publish service manuals. As you can imagine, I have formally informed Dyson of this, and it may become more tense as compliance is lagging.

Anyone else have issues of the wheels falling off? Dyson replaced it once already. We have a Golden Retriever so we vacuum several times a week but I would expect the wheels to not break every 4 to 5 months. We’re very gentle with it since the vacuum seems fragile given our initial experience. And, yes, we’re working with Dyson support.

My Dyson DC35 has developed what seems to be a connection issue between the main unit and the power to the head. I lose connection to the head motor and only seens to be resolved when I push the stick into the main unit in a certain position and the cuts out again when trying to vacuum. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I have a Dyson 45 that's was handed down to me. I keep it clean and recently changed the battery because of another issue (The green light on the vacuum cleaner kept blinking.)

Now I have another issue, It turns off about 2 seconds after holding the power button. First the green light goes out then shortly after the suction. After a short pause, I can do this on/off thing again. As I said, it's clean and the battery is new.
Now for the charger, when connected, it doesn't light up, neither the charger light nor the vacuum cleaner. However I don't recall it ever doing so in the past. So I don't want to blame the charger immediately and buy a new one. I really need help with this one. Feel free to ask for more details if you want. And thank you for your time.

Hi, my v6 animal pulses on and off even after I cleaned the filter (twice). The vacuum works fine continually when I take out the filter however. Bought a new filter but same problem. Any suggestions?

My vacuum recently stopped working so I borrowed my Dad's Dyson DC15 (ball, the animal version i think). It is too heavy for him now so I plan on keeping it. He has no idea when he bought it but says it was long ago. It is amazing, BUT he has lost all of the attachments. I am looking for a brush kit and perhaps a hard floor attachment. Multiple online dealers list thd attachments but then say out of stock. I can find parts to repair in various places, but no attachments. I've tried ebay but nothing specificically mentions dc15. I ordered a generic set from Amazon but they do not fit. Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated!!!

I replaced the extension stick with a third party from Amazon about a year ago. The power to the head intermittently goes out and I have to release the trigger and press again to get it going again.

I've been using this vacuum regularly for about 6 years. Is this the end of life of the device or is it an issue with the third party extension?

Hi. I bought this DC25 second hand a couple years ago. The suction is poor so I’ve checked hoses and ordering a new lower hose as it has cracks in multiple places. When checking over the rest of the seals, I noticed the collection bin is loose… I assume this is not normal? What should I check

I just don't know what to do with this anymore. I bought my Dyson V11 at Costco, it worked for about 9 months issue free, and then "airways blocked" problem has started. I reached out to support and they offered me a replacement, as if they were about to send me the exact same model back. After long long fight and endless calls, I received a package. And it's a wrong vacuum! They took almost 1,5 months to send me this vacuum, they sent it to the wrong address, I spend like 7 hours in total calling them and DHL, just to receive V11 with no attachments. Torque Drive model has 7 attachments, including led crevice tool, an attachment to reach under furniture and a soft brush. This has none of those. Anyone with the similar experience? Is it worth fighting? I'm so fed up with Dyson, it's unbearable. Feels like the company is on the verge of bankruptcy sending out what is left in their storage.

I have really frizzy crazy hair when airdried. The airstrait had been god send though and makes my hair look so nice. But I bought my mom the airwrap and it came with a very nice blow out brush. I want my hair to be in soft waves and even with my roundbrush i cant achieve really big nice waves with my airstrait. I feel like buying the airwrap for this reason is so crazy though, it’s half a thousand dollars. Would it be worth it?

It looks like the vacuum fell and cracked in that area where I have it taped. The suction wasn't strong. Can I buy replacement parts for that? Dyson outsize+

I’m seriously furious!! Ordered a refurbished stick vacuum- the canister is impossible to open/close without tearing up my knuckles And nearly snapping the plastic . A replacement canister is out of stock so I am forced to set up an exchange. Apparently final sale applies EVEN with a defective item. I now won’t get a replacement shipped until up to 18 days after they receive the defective item. All this waiting and inconvenience for something that’s their fault? It also took almost an hour to get answers from their online chat. Won’t be buying from them anymore!! Any other ideas?? I asked for a partial refund and they said no

Hi, I noticed the HEPA filter had visible dust buildup after just a few uses and this seemed a bit suspicious to me. After removing the pre-filter to see if there was anything on there either, I noticed dust on the walls of the chamber leading straight into the motor. Is this normal or is it supposed to be filtered out? There is a notch thing which is slightly raised where the seal is supposed to form between the pre-filter and vacuum, perhaps this is preventing a proper seal and dust is getting through there? Or maybe it's normal and I'm just overthinking things - it just looks weird because there's only one and it's not symmetrical.

I purchased this new V12 from Dyson website since my old v8 finally died and that there is a deal going on now.

Right out of the box, it looks already dirty and used. There are already dusts in the new dustbin, and scratches around the screen.

So I ordered another since replacement may take 18 days and we need a vacuum asap. To my surprise, the second one also looks already used.

Is it normal for a Dyson product nowadays?

I probably will return both of them. But I don't know if there are any good alternatives.

Gen5detect Stick Vacuum

I was vacuuming halfway and suddenly my V15 (3 years old) started pulsing. I stopped using it and reassembled the filters and cartridge but doesn’t seem to be fixing the issue. Does anyone have similar experience?

I'm so done with Dyson. My V11 started throwing "airways blocked" message while nothing was ever blocked. I figured the filter was the issue. Filters are forever out of stock, so I was offered the new vacuum to replace the faulty one. It was 2 months long battle that costed me quite some neurons. I'm thinking to just sell this new machine when it arrives and get some simple shop vac, this is the level of my disappointment. Any potential issues the buyer might face since it will be a replacement machine? Would they be able to register it in the app and get full warranty, or it's tied to my warranty forever? Listening. Is there anything to reset to factory settings on these, and has anybody tried putting the attachments in the dishwasher?

I bought a nice used Supersonic Nural for my daughter. I don't know much about hairdryers because I don't have hair and I didn't blowdry when I did. I've read a thing or two about this dryer 'learning' how you use your attachments and heat settings, so is that something that can be factory reset or is it just remembering the last setting you used with each attachment? If it isn't 'learning' anything, then I'd assume there's nothing to reset.

I purchased my Dyson in December 2024 and have barely used it. It's in excellent condition and have all the bills with me. I'm selling it because I'm moving to the USA and can't take it with me. Planning to sell it, DM me if you anyone of you are interested! Will share all the details!
