Found my old address book

From the 90s. Its full of jw names and addresses, people i met at the conventions. Also at the back was a page for memorable dates, birthdays etc. All I had written was my parents wedding anniversary.

I wonder if any of the people are still jws. 🤔

Wow, finding that must’ve hit hard. It’s strange, isn’t it—how those little books hold so many names, yet so few real connections. I had the same thing—only anniversaries, never birthdays. Looking back, I regret not marking more human moments. I wonder how many are still in, just… existing.

I felt sad that I only had one memorable date. No birthdays, like 'normal' people would have had. No names i can put faces to now. I even explained to my partner how sad it actually was.
