Deadlift First Time Deadlifting

Yes I know I need more weight. My planet fitness doesn't really have the barbels you can add weight to unless you use the Smith machine. :/

Deadlift 510x3

I hit 495x3 (no straps) 2 weeks ago with relative ease. I was hoping to get 5 on this set, but I think my grip width being so narrow and using straps made lockout way too hard for my hips. Any thoughts?

Deadlift Why is form so hard?

Moved up in weights, feels totally different. The no shoes suggestion was excellent. Not sure how I'm doing.

Deadlift Strained my Lower Back - Where Did I Go Wrong?

Has been several years since I dedicated much time at all lifting heavy on legs and got a bit eager here on the last rep and strained my lower back

My suspicion is that my core is weak but want to get other thoughts

Deadlift Fix my form - Deadlift knee buckle, max is 90kg - f29, 66kg

Getting really bad knee buckle during my deadlifts. This video is after a couple of sets already and shows the buckle really clearly, but when I start my knees are straight and strong. I think it's either hip weakness or maybe my quads are uneven, my partner thinks it's hamstrings. How can I fix my form? I always finish my set with a light weight (where my knee doesn't buckle at all) and rep it out. Thank you.

Deadlift Is slight pain for a few secs after deadlifting okay?

I have longer femurs and shortish arms and I always feel weird doing deadlifts, like I cant get into perfect position. Here I'm doing 150kg x 3 on AMRAP set. What is your advice for someone like me, should I switch to sumo deadlifts, work more on my posterior chain?

Deadlift I have a tendency of tweaking my back and being hurt for a few weeks, should I give up DL?

I donā€™t get if Iā€™m just getting too old or doing something horribly wrong, but I often tweak my lower back and am out for several weeks.. like, massive pain even walking. Is something looking incorrect here? I donā€™t want to lose out on this exercise but maybe I should and find safer alternativesā€¦

Deadlift What's wrong with my deadlift? Getting upper back pain at higher weights

Apart from looking up so my neck is not neutral, what am I doing wrong? I'm guessing I should be using my legs more and back less given that it's hurting my upper back but not sure if this is true, or how I would do this. Any advice welcome, thanks in advance!

Deadlift Deadlift form check

Hi all! Would love a form check. This was 185 lb x 5. I do RDLs as part of my regular leg day but conventional deadlifting is newer to me.

Deadlift Does anyone have advice on doing deadlifts more comfortably as a tall person (6ā€™4ā€)?

I have the bar up higher on two plates as recommended by a woman at my gym. But itā€™s so uncomfortable. I could do much more weight than this but I backed off the weight for this video to show my form. I know Iā€™m doing it wrong but no matter how many deadlift videos I watch my form doesnā€™t look right. I know my back isnā€™t supposed to be rounded like that so Iā€™m trying to fix it now but starting to wonder if maybe I just shouldnā€™t be doing deadlifts right now.

Am I hinging enough at the hips? Should I be hinging more? If so, I donā€™t even feel I have enough flexibility to do so.
