Something regarding King Bran The Broken Legs No Feely
I realized in the last episode of the show everyone referred to him as King Bran. Isn't that... weird and informal (thus disrespectful)? His full name is Brandon. If he was named William, would Tyrion be like "All hail King Billy"?
Is this something Dumb and Dumber kind of forgot too?

Mace Tyrell is the type of father Tywin should have been.
Mace The Ace has his faults but one thing is is good at his being a father for his children. He lifts the siege of Storm’s End to rescue his daughter, is clearly proud of Loras and likely knows about his homosexuality but doesn’t seem to care which is more progressive than 99.99% of Westeros and his hatred for the Dornish is due to Oberyn crippling Wilas although it was an accident.
If Mace were in Tywin m’s position he would never shut up about Jaime being in the Kingsguard and would probably push for him to be Lord Commander, he would spoil Cersei well into adulthood and would probably be fine with Tyrion being his heir as long as he cleaned up his act as opposed to Tywin who disowned Jaime, treated Cersei like a pawn and well we all know how things went with Tyrion.
The Ace may be a bit dim but he’s a better father than Tywin will ever be.

If you ever feel dumb, remember this guy thought that the golden army and lannister army together can defeat two dragons, 8000 unsullied and dothraki. (he "invested")

Rewatching GoT clips 6 years after...
I started watching the series after the second season was out and basically grew up with it. In between the seasons I'd spend all my time reading, watching Alt Shift X and other channels, and thinking about cool theories and possible endings. It'll sound pretty bad but it was a big and important part of my life. My favourite characters were Daenerys and Jon and seeing how they were butchered made me depressed for quite a while.
The last couple of days I've been rewatching a bunch of clips from the show on YT for the first time since the show ended and now I have the same fucking feeling of emptiness 6 years after. HOW COULD THEY DO THAT TO MY QUEEN????
What have your experiences been?

Inconsistent depiction of dragon fire deaths in the shows
When people and animals are burnt by dragons sometimes they immediately turn into a pile of ash, other times into smaller meaty pieces before they’re eaten and sometimes they are still able run around for a few seconds before look completely black and roasted. I think the shows could be more consistent with what you look like after you get burned by a dragon. For example Laena turns into a black skeleton and the tarlys turn into ash.

I just finished watching Beyond the Wall. Couldn't they have just...
First time watcher after all these years. Haven't read the book.
Why when they realize Thoros' injuries are too severe do they not just have him turn into a Wight instead of venturing deeper beyond the Wall?
Jon mentions he'll turn to a Wight if they don't burn his body later on, which I understand to mean he knows that it's an outcome. They could have prevented getting trapped by the Night King, saved Viserion from turning, and still would have achieved their goal of bringing back tangible evidence of the Night King's existence. Am I missing something?
