Portfolio/CV Review Resume Feedback Wanted

Post image

Hi here is my recent resume. I’m currently searching for both freelance jobs for the mean time as well as full time jobs in graphic design. I specifically love branding design and hope to get a job in a design agency in Chicago. I took out some of the personal info in the contact info in the right top corner as well. Any feedback in terms of design, effectiveness, etc, is much appreciated thank you.

I found out the hard way that the more time you spend on your cv, the better. I used to have a similar cv and literally got no job for 5- 6 months, changed it a bit, added more info and got a job within 2 weeks of updating my cv. Here is the cv that I use now (sorry for the CIA type of redacting lol)

LE: if you can use chat gpt to give you pointers, you have 10 or so prompts on free trial of the newest gpt version, so you can upload your cv and ask for a fair opinion on how to improve it. That's what I did, and I got a job now. think that most of HR departments MIGHT use AI as well to pick the good cv, they receive 400+ applications on for jobs, so you can't really blame them for using some sort of ai. The trick is to use this to your advantage, use tags, special words that the ai could pick up. CVs are about you flexing, companies don't really care who you are as a person, but who you are as an asset for the company, so why not use all the tools you can to get that job lol. is not about lying in your cv, it's about putting your skills in the right light so you get the job
