Need pedal recommendations for my first Electric

After 8 years of playing only acoustic I bought this guitar. Now I need recommendations for the first 2 pedals I should buy. I really love the SRV, EVH and Slash. Eventually I’d like to be able to connect my laptop to my amp but until then, pedal feedback is appreciated. Got this for 398 at GC Friday.
