Question How do YOU enjoy heroes3 the most?
Hi all, what kind of gameplay do you like the most? Do you play campaigns, or specific maps? Singleplayer or multiplayer? Do you randomly choose maps or only popular ones? Do you replay a number of maps over and over, or do you always find a new map to play? What are you favourite criteria for choosing maps (size, objective...)? What about towns, always the same, or random? Difficulty?
I am asking because I played for the first time 2 years ago I think, and I started campaigns. Then I lost my progress due to some bug and never continued, and play other games instead, but the charm of this one still holds me. So I'm interested in your playstyles.

Co-op with a friend, either in person or via Parsec. I found that playing against friends is a bit of a downer because you don't get to really play together (obviously), and it's hard to keep an interest in a game once someone has had their first major victory.
Besides, I'm probably the least competitive player out there. Winning against people, proving my (non-existent) superiority, that kind of thing - it just doesn't click with me. Playing on the same team against bots is much more enjoyable, as we can share strategies, talk about things that are happening in the game, help each other in battles, etc. And bots are enough of a challenge, for despite having 20 years of experience and knowing the game well, we are quite average at it.
Whenever I'm itching to play some Heroes and the friend isn't there, I boot up a single player game and continue until things go perfectly my way. As soon as something goes wrong, I usually don't even have the energy to reload; the magic is gone :)
