Oh NOW they want to reign him in, when THEY start losing money. Gotcha. Conservatives are fucking snakes.

My dark theory: Trump gets removed; Then gets replaced with the actual Russian spy.

237

u/cap_oupascap 1d ago

Vance seems more like Peter Thiel’s puppet than a Russian one

u/myburdentobear 1d ago

I've wondered if there would be a point where the clash of interests among the Christian Nationalists, the tech bros, and the Russians all come to a head and we see them all eat each other.

u/Kreegs 1d ago

Vance doesn't have the charisma to keep all those different groups together. Trump does.

So if Trump goes, the infighting will be start immediately as each of those groups fight for control.

With any luck, they don't get their shit together, nothing more bad happens and the House & Senate flip in 2 years (that last part is wishful thinking).

29

u/Greenmanssky 1d ago

Thats what I dont understand; Trump has all the charisma of a moldy cum sandwich and is half as desirable in any given room.

27

u/melophat 23h ago

His bread and butter are people who think that being racist, sexist, and a bully are admirable traits. They like that he doubles down and never admits faults. That's what they see as charisma because he makes them feel like it's ok to be assholes

6

u/BetsRduke 23h ago

He has a lot of followers in the famous he tells it like it is stupid gang

2

u/diamondgreene 23h ago

“Charisma” is in the eye of the beholder. Somebody already said that scummy peeps like him.

1

u/Slight-Guidance-3796 23h ago

Now I understand how cults grow.

1

u/niceguybadboy 23h ago

None of these dudes are charismatic: Trump, Vance, Musk.

I expected the antichrist to be better spoken.

2

u/giraloco 1d ago

At least Vance suggested not bombing yemen. He may accomplish nothing which is better than what we have now.

1

u/MobileLocal 1d ago

It’s apparent that 47 does have charisma over them all and I do NOT get it! I am ready for the infighting. It has GOT to be bubbling.

1

u/IANALbutIAMAcat 10h ago

I feel like we need to make a new word to describe Trump’s… je ne sais quoi.

Like, technically it works like charisma. But surely it’s not ‘charming’ in the typical sense of the word. It’s more like pied pipery.

13

u/im_a_mighty_pirate 1d ago

They're all taking the same steps but expecting different outcomes. Who will be right?

19

u/PensiveinNJ 1d ago

This is what I've been wondering. The Technolibertarians and Christian Nationalists are extremely awkward bedfellows, then you throw in the Russian influence and who knows what kind of weirdness might emerge.

11

u/theWaywardSun 1d ago edited 1d ago

The other problem is that they all have room temperature IQ.

Christian Nationalists chose Dump to set up their Ethnostate but he's too stupid to not shit his pants and fumble an economy. This was the time to make this change riding off Democrat success but dumbass couldn't follow through.

The Technobros aren't charismatic enough besides the smooth brain Elon Musk.

17

u/PensiveinNJ 1d ago

The technobros want very different things than the Christian Nationalists. In many ways this kind of isolationist moment is exactly what a libertarian would want, and Peter Thiel is nothing if not a libertarian or perhaps more accurately a monarchist. Peter Thiel doesn't care about money the way many people care about money, he wants to be godking of his little technofeudal kingdom and if he has to destroy the country to get it, well that's just effective accelerationism baby.

25

u/WillBottomForBanana 1d ago

It sounds good (or, as good as anything we can expect). But it's that whole "when giants fight it's the small who get trampled" thing.

3

u/Dracomortua 1d ago

No idea what is real or not at this point?

If this is a movie, please let me know. Heck, put Rachel Zegler in there, controversially kicking some MickeyMouse & incel ass.

8

u/likebuttuhbaby 1d ago

I’ve been wondering about this a lot lately, since it seems like the actual laws of this country won’t step up in any meaningful way. Does the Heritage Foundation really want to let go of any of their American Taliban regime to the tech bros who want something very different?

I don’t really factor Russia into that because all they want is Americas destruction. Doesn’t seem like they actually want to rule the country…yet. Those other two groups want to be our kings.

u/Edie_T 1d ago

Remember that Illuminati board game from like 50 years ago? Quaint. Dunno why it's popped into my head lately tho.

1

u/rhombic-12gon 1d ago

your lips to God's ears

1

u/Ariadnepyanfar 1d ago

Any chaos or any type of damage whatsoever is a bonus for Russia.

1

u/kamace11 1d ago

If they are really determined to take this in an autocratic direction it is inevitable.

1

u/AsparagusCommon4164 1d ago

Not unlike the Kilkenny Cats of lore.

1

u/r1veriared 23h ago

Can't happen fast enough

1

u/aptadnauseum 23h ago

Stop... I can only get so optimistic.

1

u/mOjzilla 23h ago

I hate this horrible image that just popped up in my head the tech bro, some robe wearing dude and some vodka guzzler all in a 180° position eating the other one out in a triangle formation. I guess the winner takes it all at this point.

1

u/mologav 18h ago

Surely there are boards of big weapons businesses who have lost a fortune who have the ways and means of taking out Trump with relative ease?

23

u/daedal81 1d ago

I've always assumed that Vance was a closeted gay man with his buddy buddy relationship with Thiel.

19

u/Hayterfan 1d ago

I'm fairly confident he is. Vance strikes me the same way a closeted preacher/ pastor does.

3

u/calle04x 1d ago

That's exactly the vibe he gives. I've known enough of them growing up in the south to know.

10

u/Gentrified_potato02 1d ago

His eyeliner says it all. He’s already gone for the wingtip. He’s about six months away from going full smoky eyes.

4

u/UnquestionabIe 1d ago

I've always just thought his sexuality is flexible depending on what he's offered. He most certainly spent some wild nights with Thiel after he was "discovered" during his college days. He's definitely given that wrinkled pickle some thrills.

3

u/Beneficial_Cash_8420 1d ago

Just because his eyeshadow game can get any guy in the club....

9

u/toodlelux 1d ago

That signal chat showed us that Vance is also as much of a bumbling dumbass privately as he is on camera.

2

u/maxfraizer 1d ago

Why not both?

1

u/One-Butterscotch4332 1d ago

Vance seems like a puppet to whoever is in charge. Just an overall spineless dude

1

u/sweetpotato_latte 1d ago

Vance seems like he’d be laughed out of the job.

19

u/SDcowboy82 1d ago

Trump is the actual Russian spy

10

u/IKetoth 1d ago

Yeah the only way it could get any more obvious is if he changed his name to Sergej Trumpinov, how are people STILL not convinced after he taxed the entirety of planet earth EXCEPT Russia. There's uninhabited islands and random territories of other countries in his fucking list but not the US's greatest historical enemy.

You couldn't make it more on the nose if you were actively trying to.

2

u/TheUgly0rgan 19h ago

Trump gets removed, he comes back with a stick-on mustache saying he's Trump's just as handsome and equally as smart (I hear he's very smart, probably the smartest) long-lost twin, Donald Trump. He then sues his own family for copyrights on his name and takes over his estate, his estranged wife now destitute. He forces Stormy Daniels into marriage via martial law and rules judge dredd style with elons secretly developed cybernetic implants.

17

u/falcrist2 1d ago

At this point I have to ask... how would that be any different?

2

u/hightrix 23h ago

Exactly. It’s like trading out a runny pile of shit for a lumpy pile of shit. It’s still shit.

3

u/IntelligentRoof1342 1d ago

If trump gets removed I will dance on my roof

2

u/Additional-Natural49 1d ago

I was thinking about this leading up to the election. This HAS to be a way to get Vance in office since there was no other way he could get in without MAGA. Even Trump supporters were mixed on Vance being VP.

edit: typo

2

u/JadedMedia5152 1d ago

Darker theory: Vance is killed somehow, Trump gets removed, and Johnson gets installed just after the 2026 election would depose him as Speaker.

2

u/The_Martian_King 1d ago

Are you mental?  Trump may as well have a tattoo that reads: "Putin's bi#ch."

2

u/Smooth-Brother-2843 23h ago

Is there a difference? It’s laughable to think Trump hasn’t given them state secrets already.

1

u/No-Edge-8600 22h ago

I don’t think Trump is smart enough to have a plan like that. He’s purely reactionary and a narcissist - very manipulatable. Whereas, he might’ve appointed some actual Russian spies to his cabinet, unknowingly, thinking they’re loyalist conservatives.

1

u/Smooth-Brother-2843 20h ago

Not a plan, he’d just give it to Putin for a new hotel. It’s all fun money to him.

1

u/kungfungus 1d ago

Imagine a smart type of Trump as prez.

1

u/BornFree2018 23h ago

Trump is both a cult leader and a follower of whomever is the mastermind of Project 2025 (Putin?).

1

u/deathangel687 1d ago

Oh you mean Tulsi Gabbard? We already have that.

14

u/bobbymcpresscot 1d ago

his friends are already cashed out and waiting for the reverse tariff announcement to buy up everything at a discount.

6

u/9fingfing 1d ago

When Devil’s son trying to kill Devil, we should support.

3

u/idropepics 1d ago

Explains why they love their 'pleas no step on snek' flag so much

2

u/MadeByTango 1d ago

They’re not snakes; they ip let tell you all the time they’re voting and legislating for their own interests. Capitalism is defined as “find a resource and capitalize on it by exploring the need or desire of others for it.” And government services solve needs instead of charging for them. They hate that.

Anytime to government interferes with their money, they hate it. They’re extremely consistent.

Stop insulting snakes!

1

u/Pillowsmeller18 1d ago

They cant have trump and cry about losing their money.

They can eat shit for the mess Trump caused.

1

u/jazzmx 1d ago

Conservatives are just hypocrites and champions of double standards

1

u/deathangel687 1d ago

Yeah no shit. That's how they've always operated and how a lot of people do. People usually don't care until it affects them. Our brain falls for it almost every time.

1

u/zoot_boy 10h ago

That’s giving snakes a bad name.

-1

u/mullahchode 1d ago

You are showing your ignorance.

-8

u/AwareOfAlpacas 1d ago

So you're gonna ... what? Support the tariffs now that there is conservative pain? Join hands with these conservatives in opposing tariffs while gritting your teeth and bitching loudly about your strange bedfellows? Change nothing at all but whine a bit for karma?

Lol
