This subreddit is dedicated to large scale indoor/outdoor cultivation. Please use the report button if you come across a post that is not 'macro' in size.
If your grow is of a small scale, personal type please post in /r/microgrowery instead of here.
As a general rule, if you're going to post less than a room or field of cannabis plants, consider your grow to be micro, not macro.
Many thanks.

Helping my homie launch Elk Creek Genetics, a family-run operation in NorCal that’s been putting in quiet work for years.
His dad’s been growing outdoor, living-soil flower since before the apps existed. The type of grower who knows his soil better than most people know their inbox.
We just officially launched the brand with: • Clean flower (Acapulco Kush, Blueberry Mintz, more) • Cold-cured, single-source live rosin (pressed in-house) • Hand-rolled prerolls, real terp profiles • CBD balm (rosin-infused, full-spectrum, no fluff)
We’ve got product, packaging, and a site up, but we’re not in a rush. We’re focused on organic growth—Instagram, Reddit, and IRL connections.
If you’ve ever followed a brand that felt legit from the jump—what made you stay tapped in?
Would love any honest thoughts as we keep building.

Adjusting the pH no matter how dilute the solution will cause precipitation issues. The water becomes cloudy and a few days later Brown. Drip is supposed to be a clear product. For context we are on well water so we must use ro followed up with deionization stages. Input water from Wells around 500 PPM and before the DI is around 15. Due to high silicates and mystery elements that seem to cause issues, we must use the DI.
When discussing with the regional brand ambassadors AKA tech support all they do is tell me is to stop using the DI. Be real nice to get a real answer from a real tech support or send a question on to their chemistry team blended their line.

Someone tried CBG raw/fresh bubble hash extraction?
I've noticed in field that CBG plants pollen isn't sticky, so it should be very easy to extract.
My friend told me to just put debucked flowers to a barrel with cold water, mix and scoop the bubble hash from top. It's gonna be a lot of flowers to process.
What are your ideas on this topic? Thank you in advance

One of my growrooms is 893 square feet with 9 foot ceilings and 2 Anden A320V1 dehumidifiers controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro-X Pro. The Dehums are located on opposite corners of this room, with one of them being on the half of the room that is about 20% narrower. Its very clear to me that this setup is less than ideal but at the moment I am forced make due with the systems that I've got. to The issue I'm having is that when the trolmaster sends the signal to the dehumidifiers to turn on and lower the humidity, they both kick on at once and raise the temp while drastically lowering the humidity more than specified. My humidity is being raised and lowered ~15% higher and lower than my set humidity. Does anybody have any advice on how I can set this room up to hold a more stable humidity/vpd?

Haven’t found much info online but has anyone had success with ION LEDs? Tons of deals on the 630w 720w and 830w out there used and looking for real world reviews on how they perform.
Please don’t turn this into “you should buy (xyz) lights instead” I know there’s a ton of other brands I’d rather go to first (specgrade/ HLG/GML, etc) but for the deals and availability I’m seeing out there I’d love to give em a shot if the ions perform. At the end of the day I’m sure they’re like 90% of the bar lights out there. Everything is made in China anyways for the most part. Thanks

From what I understand, using a lot of the same sciences that are applied in tissue culture, you can create synthetic seeds. These seeds would be more of a clone than a seed because it would be an exact replica of the tissue cultured plant.
This also opens the door to auto clones. You can tissue culture a newly sprouted auto seed and use that culture to create synthseeds of that exact plant. In theory it should produce the same plant every time, which isn't something the auto market does right now.
To expand further on the auto topic, outdoor cultivators in areas with short and/or wet seasons would be the target consumers for these synthseed autos. They could simply plant like normal and harvest high quality flower without ever needing greenhouse space or indoor space to start clones.
When it comes to home growers: most of them buy seeds for some reason. If the cost and germination rate were at least close to what they already get from real seeds, than this would be a straight upgrade for anyone who grows flower from seed.
All of this seems like very new science though and I'm having a hard time finding anyone who is actually doing it to learn more about it.

Looking to seal cement floors in the facility. Looking at both epoxy and urethane cement coating. They obviously have their differences but I'm curious what more people go with. Any brands I should look in to? Trying to avoid the green tax with any canna labeled epoxys.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help with my new veg lights. I’m trying to get them on a timer through the trolmaster. I have an RJ12 coming from the light adapter to a splitter and then in to the LED. When I try to turn on and off with the trolmaster it stays dark even though the times are set in the trol. When I unplug the RJ12 the light turns on so I know it has power.
Any help would be appreciated!

Anyone have experience with COM Checks? Code enforcer is insisting we need a COM Check with our new build. We’re not using a speciality cannabis engineer for the blueprints so our engineer is unfamiliar with com checks and cannabis like any exemptions. Looking for resources on this. Located in NY since not all states require this.

Hi MacroGrowery
Microgrower here
Trying to build a rotation and was wondering if any one have insight on the strains Seed Junky has available right now. Want to pick something up but don’t have any real frame on reference for what is worth picking up.

I’ve got a 10x15 flower room with a 8” booster inline fan from the lung room into the flower room. Flower room has a 8” exhaust outside. Last year dropping temps wasn’t bad, indoor temp is around 68-70 but flower won’t stay below 75. Also will affect my fades. Could I have an airflow issue creating a vacuum where fresh air from outside of the house cannot enter causing the exhaust fan to not be able to properly exhaust? When I open a window upstairs I get a high draft coming in when the exhaust turns on. I had some windows replaced recently maybe they are more sealed?

I'm using the basic Trolmaster controller and the 1930e's won't turn on automatically below 35% and won't stay on at all below 32% light intensity. Would their light controller allow me to go lower?
New transplants start reacting poorly to the light intensity after a couple days and I've needed to ghetto rig some low intensity lights to reduce DLI and keep the leaves from crinkling. Reducing the hours they get under the 1930's fixes the issue in less than 24 hours. Raising the lights higher isn't an option and it's working well during flower.
