The price in America makes sense because of inflation and Trump's dumbass tariffs.

Europe is getting fucked though.

Price was announced before the tariffs landed bud. Unless Nintendo has a Time Machine too

Hmm if only there were any warning signs that widespread tariffs were coming from the USA. any signs at all….

Can you find me any speculation about a near 50% tariff on Vietnam & Cambodia, the countries Nintendo shifted to to avoid the widely anticipated China tariffs?

They didn't need to know it was that high, $300 from 2017 is $390 today, that $60 gap could easily be explained as just the performance difference and not touch tariffs at all

It's built in somewhat. People who think Nintendo will raise the price to $600 due to tariffs are wrong. Doesn't mean they won't change the price, but the goal is to bake enough wiggle room into it that you don't have to.
