Breath of the Wild was 80$ on launch inflation adjusted. If 10$ is pricing you out, you have bigger problems

I think that’s exactly why people are so frustrated. They have bigger problems and Nintendo is adding one more. I wouldn’t say it’s a rational opinion, necessarily, but I understand it.

Does Nintendo exist in a separate dimension where the global economy functions differently?

Or was everyone expecting the billion dollar company to take one for the team and not increase prices to compensate?

This isn’t a defence of Nintendo, just confused what people were expecting and more importantly why.
