Ooooh.....I don't want to be in that driver's shoes. Pretty sure there's ALLLLLL sorts of pain coming their way. Mostly legal and financial.

This reminds me of an older co-worker, who was driving to work one day, and spotted a turkey vulture flying towards her car. Here's how the conversation she had with herself played out:

"Damn, that's a big bird!"
"Wow, that bird is BIG!"
"Uh...why isn't it getting out of my way?"
*BANG* (as the "big bird" embedded itself squarely in the center of her windshield)

Pretty sure the driver in this post probably had a similar conversation before they hit the police cruiser.

That driver absolutely should make sure this is goes to trial and have the lawyer ask why a cop chose to ignore a fully clear lane and instead drove straight into oncoming traffic.

Where do you see a fully clear lane?

Literally the right lane on the right side does not have cars in it.

You want a cop car with it's lights on to pass on the right? Take a minute and think about that.

How do you know that suburu car or whatever wasn't gonna pull over to the right at the last second? Like, you know, he was supposed to do? Still doesnt excuse the camry from continuously going straight into the cop car.
